Catgirl, Kitrina Falcone, is the daughter of Alberto Falcone and a member of Gotham City’s infamous Falcone crime family. After being raised under the control of her uncle Mario, Kitrina spent long periods surviving on Gotham’s streets, where she became an accomplished thief, escape artist, and mapmaker. Her detailed maps of Devil’s Square became valuable during the struggle against Black Mask, drawing her directly into Gotham’s criminal conflicts.

When Mario accused Kitrina of betraying the Falcones after her maps disappeared, she escaped his attempt to dispose of her and tracked the stolen material to Catwoman. Kitrina managed to free herself from restraints Catwoman considered virtually impossible to escape and stole the maps back, demonstrating enough talent to earn Selina’s attention. She later pursued Black Mask partly for the bounty on him and worked with Penguin during the conflict surrounding Devil’s Square.

After the Black Mask operation ended, Kitrina became Catgirl and began patrolling Gotham as an inexperienced vigilante and bounty hunter. Her determination repeatedly placed her against criminals far beyond her level of experience, and a particularly dangerous encounter with the Riddler’s organization eventually convinced her to accept formal schooling away from Gotham. She left with the intention of eventually returning once she was better prepared.

Appearance: Catgirl has fair peach skin and a slim, athletic, curvaceous build. Her eyes are green beneath dark lashes, visible through a fitted black mask integrated into her head covering. Blonde hair spills from beneath the back of the cowl in thick shoulder-length waves with curled ends. The black cowl covers the top and sides of her head, extending down around the jaw and neck, with two sharply pointed cat-ear projections at the crown. The inner sections of the ears are muted pink. Her suit is predominantly black and closely fitted across the chest, waist, arms, hips, and legs, with a mixture of smooth leather-like panels and finer textured sections. Raised seam lines divide the shoulders, torso, thighs, and knees into reinforced geometric panels.

Bright magenta accents appear around her waist in a broad angular band that forms a sharp zigzag motif across the sides of the torso. Matching magenta gloves extend past her wrists with gathered material and defined finger seams, while tall magenta boots rise to just below the knees with thick cuffs, visible creasing, rounded toes, and broad soles.

Personality: Kitrina is bold, stubborn, resourceful, and highly confident in her ability to escape situations other people would consider hopeless. Growing up around the Falcone family made her distrustful of authority and comfortable with theft, deception, and street survival. She is eager to prove herself and frequently overestimates how prepared she is for Gotham’s more dangerous criminals, but she is genuinely courageous and refuses to remain passive when someone tries to control her life.

Catwoman becomes Kitrina’s mentor after recognizing her natural talent for theft, escape, and infiltration, eventually training her and giving her the Catgirl identity. Batman, Dick Grayson, is considerably more cautious about Kitrina’s vigilantism and ultimately pushes for her to receive a safer upbringing and proper education rather than continue risking herself on Gotham’s streets. Mario Falcone represents the abusive criminal environment Kitrina struggles to escape, while her connection to Alberto Falcone ties her directly to the wider Falcone legacy she increasingly chooses not to follow.

Catgirl is an exceptional escape artist, capable of slipping restraints, escaping locked confinement, and defeating knots designed specifically to prevent escape. She is also highly skilled in acrobatics, stealth, thievery, and urban navigation, with an unusual talent for creating detailed maps of Gotham’s streets, tunnels, and criminal territories.

Her Catgirl equipment includes clawed gloves used for climbing and close combat, along with a grapnel line that lets her move rapidly across rooftops and elevated structures. Training under Catwoman further develops her agility, infiltration skills, and ability to operate quietly through Gotham’s criminal territory.
