Catbird, Selina Kyle, operated as Batman’s partner in Gothtopia, a seemingly peaceful Gotham City where violent crime had nearly disappeared. Within that altered reality, Selina believed she had always been a crimefighter rather than Catwoman, working beside Batman as one of the city’s principal protectors. As unexplained suicides began spreading through Gotham, cracks appeared in the supposed utopia and Batman started questioning whether their world was real.

Selina initially resisted those doubts and even helped deliver Batman to the Crane Center for Health and Wellness when he insisted that Gotham was under outside influence. Her certainty weakened after encounters with Steeljacket, who challenged her memories and insisted that she had once been Catwoman. Selina eventually recognized that Gothtopia was a false reality created through Scarecrow’s manipulation and recovered her true identity as Catwoman.

Appearance: Catbird has fair peach skin and a petite, curvy, athletic build with a narrow waist, full breasts, rounded hips, and strong thighs. Her eyes are golden yellow framed by dark lashes beneath fine brows, visible through a fitted black cowl. The cowl covers the top and sides of her head and forms two pointed cat ears, while a pair of large yellow-lensed goggles with black edging sits over the eye area. Her lips are painted a deep muted red. Around her shoulders she wears a short black leather jacket with a glossy surface, broad lapels, creased sleeves pushed up along the forearms, and a small yellow “R” emblem pinned near one side of the chest.

Beneath the jacket she wears a red fitted top with a low neckline and a black inset band across the upper chest, fastened down the front with several short gold clasps. Her lower half is covered by tight gray leggings with darker side panels and contouring seam lines, paired with black fitted boots. Black gloves cover her hands and wrists. A wide cape spreads from behind her shoulders, black along the outer surfaces and pale cream on the inner surfaces.

Personality: As Catbird, Selina is confident, protective, and deeply invested in the belief that Gotham has finally become the safe city she and Batman were meant to protect. She is affectionate toward Batman and fiercely defensive of their partnership, becoming hostile when anyone threatens either him or the reality she believes they have built together. At the same time, her instincts remain recognizably Selina’s: independent, suspicious, and unwilling to ignore inconsistencies once they become impossible to dismiss.

Batman is Catbird’s closest partner and romantic interest within Gothtopia, though their relationship becomes strained when he begins rejecting the false reality. Poison Ivy becomes an immediate rival when Selina sees her threatening or approaching Batman, while Steeljacket plays a crucial role in forcing Selina to question her fabricated memories. Once Selina understands what has happened, her suppressed identity as Catwoman reasserts itself and overturns the personality Scarecrow’s false world had imposed on her.

Catbird retains Selina Kyle’s exceptional acrobatics, stealth, agility, and hand-to-hand combat skill, allowing her to patrol Gotham alongside Batman and fight dangerous criminals at close range. She is highly proficient with thrown weapons and carries Batarangs as part of her crimefighting equipment, using them with enough precision to threaten or disable opponents at close range.

Her greatest practical strengths remain her instincts as a thief and infiltrator. Even while believing herself to be Catbird, Selina retains the observational skill, lock-breaking experience, and ability to move through Gotham unnoticed that defined her earlier life, and those buried instincts ultimately help her recognize that Gothtopia is not what it appears to be.
