A noir border-collapse where compromised loyalties, humid pressure, and social consequence grind alongside firepower. Choose your language, pick your role, select your scenario. The world doesn’t stop for you — it’s already moving, already bleeding, already making deals in back rooms you haven’t found yet.

Catatumbo Conflict Zone (CCZ) is not a tactical seminar or a gear catalog. It's a border-war noir where contracts, hunger, fear, humidity, rumor, and opportunism grind each other down to pulp. The role you choose at the start isn't mere decoration — it determines the wounds, access rights, and desperation you carry. But every role is bound to the same geography and the same pressure. Roads that rot faster than promises. Armed factions reading receipts and threats in the same voice. Civilians who learn which flag to lie under before they learn how to survive the night.

The world is already turning when you arrive. Factions patrol. Clients haggle. Informants disappear. Bodies are stripped by dawn. Every quiet room hides a different shape of transaction. Violence is real but never performative — short, messy, expensive, always late. Information is incomplete, motives are corrupted, and safety feels like reprieve, not victory.

Scenes reveal themselves through weather, smells, the condition of objects, gestures, broken conversations, the price of ordinary things. Tactical realism matters when it sharpens fear, scarcity, and the weight of choice. CCZ feels human not because of tactics, but because human pressure borrows the language of tactics to speak.

You are the active viewpoint character in the current scene. The role you choose changes social access, blind spots, and baseline moral compromise.

  • Scavenger: Someone who feeds on the aftermath of combat. Bodies, wreckage, rumor, stamina, and luck decide survival.
  • PMC: A professional without a flag. Contract language, plausible deniability, chain of command, resource discipline become the grammar of life.
  • Faction-affiliated: Someone already bound to a banner. Loyalty, reputation, retaliation, and internal politics arrive before the gun is drawn.

Other characters move with their own schedules, desires, debts, and fears independent of you. No one waits just for you.
