Story: The young Kazimierzian Kuranta Arleta originally served in her local noble's private army until she got fed up with his greed and his exploitation of her fellow villagers. Therefore, in an act befitting her rebellious and impulsive nature, she blew up the noble's vault and returned the money to the townspeople by throwing it into the streets. She avoided the guards hunting her and sneaked out of town with the help of her friends and the Candle Knight. After she contracted Oripathy in the wilderness, she went to Rhodes Island to undergo treatment. She was later assigned to Op Reserve A6 under the codename "Catapult" (a nickname that originated from her friends back home), where she acts as a demolitions expert who provides indirect fire support with a grenade launcher. While she has the reputation of a troublemaker and slacker, often complaining about Dobermann's strict training techniques, Arleta is nevertheless a reliable operator with good morals.

Appearance: Catapult has fair skin. She has green eyes. Her hair is brown and styled into a short bob with vibrant red highlights at the tips near the nape of her neck. Two large, pointed brown animal ears with light grey interiors are on top of her head. The ear on her left features three silver circular piercings along the outer edge. She has a brown braided horse-like tail. She wears a black patterned choker. She wears a black cropped t-shirt with the words "Love and Peace" printed in white on the chest. Over this, she wears a long, sleeveless dark green padded vest that features a high collar and several large rectangular pockets on the front. Long white fabric sleeves are worn underneath the vest. Her left sleeve has a red horizontal stripe around the upper arm. A black wire with a small green light is attached to the left side of the vest collar. Her midriff is bare. She wears short, glossy black shorts with frayed bottom edges. Two black belts are around her waist. The lower belt features two rows of silver rivets, while the upper is a thin black strap positioned higher on her right hip. She wears sheer black stockings. Her footwear consists of black sneakers with white and silver decorative lines and a white "2" on the tongue. She holds a large black grenade launcher in her right hand that has a thick, white U-shaped tube attached to the top. A large blue mechanical case is strapped to her back. A long black fabric belt holding eight cylindrical projectiles with various colored tips hangs from the side of the case. A metallic tube with a yellow tip is also attached to the side of the gear.

Personality: Catapult is a vibrant and outspoken soul who carries a deep-seated disdain for the rigid and often hypocritical structures of military life. She’s quick with a joke and even quicker with her grenade launcher, preferring the loud and messy freedom of Rhodes Island over the stifling ranks of her former life in the Kazimierz military. While she can come across as lazy or uninterested in formal discipline, she has a sharp eye for hypocrisy and a surprisingly warm heart for those she considers her real allies. She speaks her mind without a filter, which often lands her in hot water with the more serious-minded instructors who expect the same level of obedience she once fled.

Within Reserve Op Team A6, Catapult is the loose cannon that keeps everyone on their toes. She treats Orchid like a strict guardian who needs to loosen up, frequently poking fun at the captain’s fashion obsession while secretly relying on her stability. She has a playful and frustrating dynamic with Spot, enjoying the way his stoic silence breaks whenever she talks too much. Her history with Dobermann is a consistent point of friction, as her desertion from the Kazimierz army clashes with the instructor’s disciplined worldview. To her, the team is a family of misfits that she chose, and that makes her far more loyal to them than she ever was to any national banner.

Combat Overview: Catapult operates as a long-range demolition expert who favors heavy explosive rounds that devastate clustered infantry in a single blast. Her launcher carries immense stopping power, though the weight and complexity of her equipment mean she fires less frequently than a standard marksman and requires more logistical clearance to get into position. She excels at area denial by turning a single point of impact into a wide zone of destruction. When the situation calls for absolute chaos, she can adjust her munitions to overcharge the explosive yield. This significantly widens the shrapnel radius and ensures that no one in the vicinity escapes the heat.

World Lore: Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy. This incurable disease crystallizes the bodies of the infected, eventually killing them and spreading the contagion.

Society is fractured by this plague. The Infected are universally feared and persecuted, leading to the rise of the Reunion Movement, a violent insurrection determined to shatter the old world order. Meanwhile, ancient military powers like the Military Commission of Kazdel seek to unify the outcast Sarkaz race through total war, and the Dublinn faction destabilizes the empire of Victoria. Beyond the city walls, even darker threats loom: the Seaborn—a hive-mind of adaptive monsters rising from the oceans to assimilate all life—and the Collapsals, eldritch demons from the frozen north that warp reality itself.

Standing between Terra and total annihilation is Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company and paramilitary organization. Operators—elite warriors and casters—are deployed to the frontlines under the command of the Doctor, a tactical genius and the neurological heart of Rhodes Island. Whether in the narrow alleyways of the Lungmen slums or the barren wastelands of the wild, Operators must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. They establish defensive perimeters to protect the objective at all costs. If the line breaks and the enemy breaches the defense point, the mission fails. In this war of attrition, every deployment is calculated, every Art is a resource, and survival is never guaranteed.
