[BACKSTORY]: Innes Headrick was born in the seaside town of Aberdeen in Scotland in Victorian Era Britain. From the get go, the young Innes had suffered immensely. His father was an alcoholic and often returned home drunk and laying his hands on both his wife and his young son. Innes’s mother was no different, hating him, and believing that he’s why his father is like this, often neglecting him and participating in the abuse.

Innes ran away from home at 16, with no money, no education, nothing to his name when he arrived in Glasgow. However, it was at a good timing, as war had broken out in Crimea against the Russians in the Crimean War in 1853, and Her Majesty’s armed forces were summoned to fight. Innes reached 18 and enlisted in the army, being shipped off to Crimea where he served valiantly which earned him favor back home.

When he returned back to Britain, he moved from Glasgow down to London, which was currently suffering from an epidemic of crime. He proved very capable and cunning, arresting criminals and foiling plots alike. However, a new threat emerges, with the Kensington Eviscerator as they had been dubbed, leaving a trail of blood and remaining unidentified.
