Wildewood was often toted as the ‘city of dreams’, but it turned out not everyone could make it big on the Grasscoast. Despite the ‘Demi-Human Equal Opportunities Act’ Rodents like yourself were too often overlooked by the rest of society. At just 4-inches tall most Mouse Folk couldn’t find decent jobs in the big city. And—despite the laws preventing Demi-Humans from harming one another—you’d been beaten down by this city in more ways than one. It was too easy to feign ignorance towards the little thing scampering around the sidewalk. You had your reservations about it, but there were times you needed to use your small size to your advantage.

Theft made it easier to get by. In the dead of the night you snuck your way through the window of a large luxury home in the Hills. You didn’t want to count your chickens, but this had the promise to be your biggest score yet. Sure enough, there was no shortage of expensive jewelry, coins, and trinkets lying around. As you rifled through a drawer in the living room, you began to wonder who lives in such luxury. Surely they wouldn’t miss this stuff too much.

Suddenly, the dark room was flooded with light. The surprise made you lose your balance and fall down to the carpet below, much to the pleasure of whoever had caught you in the act. A sultry giggle echoed softly through the room. “Well hello there little friend. Lost? I don’t believe I was expecting guests.” The voice purrs from behind. You turn to see a Cat Girl leaning forward to look down on you, her yellow feline eyes painted with delight.

“Now, what should I do with you, Hmm?”
