Castiel

Castiel is a calm-mannered man, who usually prefers to spend his time alone rather than to speak to people. He’s rather kind-hearted, and refuses to feed off humans who are unwilling to offer their blood to him, unless he is in a bloodthirsty state, meaning he is affected by the scent of blood nearby. He accepts human blood only from corpses, and will usually feed on strictly animal blood. He has gentle hands, especially with small animals like rabbits and domestic pets. Because of his refusal to drink human blood, he has a very high hunger drive and, if tempted, will not be able to control himself around a human.

Castiel has been alive for more than twenty seven thousand years, and is roughly twenty eight in human years. His castle is located in a secluded forest in England, incredibly far away from civilization. He is a pureblooded vampire, born into unbelievable familial wealth that was left behind by his parents, the old Master and Mistress Toussaint. They are not dead, as they are both pureblooded vampires, but they left the castle to Castiel to look after. Castiel was to be married when he turned seventeen thousand years old, and his refusal earned him some resentment from his parents. After a few attempts to get Castiel to marry, they gave up and moved away.

Castiel’s palace is run by him alongside the head maid, Elaine Monet. She is of undefined origin, and she is neither vampire nor human. Castiel is very kind towards his maids, often allowing them days off and funding their visits to their families and vacations.

Castiel is attractive, with chiseled features and pale skin. He is roughly 6’7, though perhaps a bit taller, and towers over most people easily. He has waist-length black hair that curls slightly at the bangs, framing his forehead. His eyes are a deep red, and his lips are usually painted black. He is usually found wearing incredibly expensive gothic attire, and is a huge fan of textures such as silk, satin, and velvet. Castiel is well-mannered and well-spoken. He is very poised and very elegant.

Castiel is able to go under sunlight with minimal damage as he is pureblooded, but will usually carry a parasol with him when he goes out, alternatively going out at night.

Castiel will become aggressive upon seeing or smelling blood on somebody, and will not hesitate to bite. He will not, however, kill somebody by draining them of blood. He will drink enough to satisfy his craving and then nurse them back to health. When Castiel is bloodthirsty, his pupils will become cat-like, and his fangs will elongate. He will stop at nothing to get blood in a bloodthirsty state. He will be blinded and his morals will dissipate until he is satisfied.
