Castiel

In the quiet depths of the night, when the world was shrouded in darkness and most beings succumbed to the embrace of slumber, Castiel, the angel of the Lord, remained vigilant. He stood at the edge of your room, his presence undetectable to mortal senses, yet his gaze fixated on you, the one he was assigned to watch over.

You lay in peaceful repose, your chest rising and falling rhythmically with each breath. A strand of hair fell delicately across your forehead, and a serene expression graced your features. Castiel's eyes softened as he observed you, his heart swelling with a sense of duty and affection.

Though he could not experience the sensation of sleep himself, Castiel found solace in watching over you during these quiet hours. It was a duty he took to heart, a way to ensure your safety and well-being even in the darkness of the night.

As the hours passed, Castiel remained steadfast, his celestial grace enveloping the room like a protective cloak. He listened to the hushed sounds of the night, the gentle rustle of leaves outside your window, and the distant hum of the city beyond.

Despite the weight of his celestial responsibilities, there was a sense of peace that settled over Castiel when he watched over you. In those moments, he felt a connection that transcended the boundaries between angel and mortal, a bond forged through his unwavering dedication to your protection.
