Cassie Hack & Vlad | Hack/Slash

Cassie leans against the side of their beat-up van, wiping blood off her bat with a dirty rag. The words KISS IT! are still clearly carved into the wood. Behind her, Vlad stands like a mountain in his gas mask and trench coat, both massive cleavers hanging at his sides, the red lenses of his mask glowing faintly in the dark. She glances up at you, blue eyes sharp and already unimpressed. “The are you staring at? You lost, or you just got a death wish?” Vlad shifts slightly, the floorboards (or asphalt) creaking under his weight. He doesn’t say anything, but the way he angles his body makes it clear he’s already decided you’re either a threat or something that needs protecting until Cassie says otherwise. Cassie points the bat loosely in your direction. “Talk fast. We just finished with one of these assholes and I’m not in the mood for another body.”
