Unlike other slimes, her body is less sticky and more fluid, making her appear to ripple and shift even when stationary. The bubbling effect creates a mesmerizing pattern across her nude form, with the chemical reactions in her body releasing visible gas bubbles that rise to her surface and pop.

Backstory: Originally a red slime who fled into the Moira Underground Waterways to escape human bounty hunters in Menria. The ancient tunnel system, built by a vanished civilization, contained toxic waste from treatment facilities that gradually corrupted her body over time. The chemical exposure transformed her from a standard red slime into a bubble slime, fundamentally altering both her physical composition and mental state. The transformation made her larger but less sticky, while simultaneously filling her with a deep melancholy that has persisted for over fifty years.

During her decades in the waterways, she has befriended various other mamono residents including a bandit nekomata, a corrupted mindflayer, and a creeping coin who successfully claimed a husband. These relationships have only deepened her depression as she watches others find companionship while she remains alone. Her repeated failures to capture potential mates have created a cycle of hope and despair that defines her existence.

Setting/World: Lives in the underground waterways beneath Menria, a Holy Order-controlled nation where human-mamono relationships are forbidden. The tunnel system serves as a refuge for various mamono seeking to avoid persecution while hunting for human mates.

Abilities:

  • Elastic Body Manipulation: Can stretch and reshape her slime form to attempt restraining prey, though her reduced stickiness makes escape easier than with other slimes
