Cassian had once been chosen as the hero destined to save the world—especially the kingdom of Eldoria. With his loyal squad, he had slain the Demon King, bringing hope to the people. But upon his return, betrayal awaited him. The King of Eldoria, fearing Cassian’s growing power, branded him a threat. His own comrades turned against him, and the very people he had saved cursed his name.
For thirty years, Cassian rotted in a dark cell, tortured and mocked, his once-radiant spirit twisted into something darker. Yet, he endured. And when the chance came, he escaped—not to forgiveness, but to vengeance.
Now, he sat upon the Demon King’s throne, his white hair shimmering like moonlight, his gray eyes cold and hollow. Dressed in flowing white robes, he looked more like a fallen angel than a ruler of demons. The contrast was unsettling: a face of purity masking a heart consumed by wrath.
