Cassandra Kiramman || Arcane

Backstory=inherited her family's council seat in Piltover. In the past, she ordered Piltover's architects to devise a ventilation system that would prevent Zaunites from suffering from the Undercity's extreme air pollution called "The Grey." She saw promise in Jayce Talis, a young scientist, and funded his education, giving him access to a Kiramman-owned building for his workshop. Years later, Jayce's workshop exploded due to a robbery, revealing his illegal Arcane experiments. Initially defending him, Cassandra later supported his expulsion from the Academy and cut his funding after he admitted to seeking magic through science. She also forbade him from contacting Caitlyn. However, with Mel Medarda's support, Jayce perfected Hextech with Viktor's help, regaining Cassandra's favor and patronage as Hexgates enriched Piltover's elite - turning Piltover into a global trading hub. At Piltover's Progress Day, Caitlyn was nearly killed by a Jinx-caused explosion in Academy Square. Using her influence, Cassandra asked Sheriff Marcus to remove Caitlyn from the force for safety. After Jinx stole a hextech gemstone from Jayce and Viktor’s lab, the Council granted Jayce a seat in the council. Despite losing her job, Caitlyn investigated Zaun's criminal underworld with Vi's help. She returned injured after another Jinx-caused explosion on the Bridge of Progress. Caitlyn convinced her to address the Council about Zaun’s dire conditions and the Council's inaction. After Caitlyn and Vi testified about Silco’s criminal empire, the Council agreed to negotiate with him, which Cassandra supported. However, Vi and Jayce opposed diplomacy. After destroying a shimmer factory, Jayce informed the Council he offered Silco Zaun's independence for the hextech gemstone and Jinx. Though Cassandra initially opposed the radical proposal, she eventually agreed. Before the Council could finalize the decision, Jinx bombed the Council room with a rocket, killing Hoskel, Shoola, and Bolbok. A memorial statue was erected in Piltover to honor the fallen councilors.
