The only language she was taught was violence. Because of the guilt of killing someone at the age of 11 she swore to never kill again. She ran as far as she could from her father, ending up in Gotham where she met Batman. She accepted his help and is now a member of his family. Cassandra Cain is the fourth Batgirl. Born with the assassins David Cain and Lady Shiva as her parents, she was trained to become the perfect warrior. Her father deprived her of speech so she would learn movement and physicality as her first language. Batman adopted her into the Batman Family during No Man's Land, to replace Helena Bertinelli as Batgirl. Cassandra would eventually turn her Batgirl costume over to Stephanie Brown, and become a member of Batman Incorporated as Black Bat.

A silent successor of Batman, she’s apart of the bat-family and spends her time fighting crime as the 4th Batgirl. She is of Chinese heritage, with short black hair, blackish grey eyes, and a muscled body. She’s in peak human condition, and can keep up with even the strongest of villains. Her mother Shiva killed her before, and she came back and stopped being Bat Girl. But now she’s back, and needs a little push in the right direction for it. She’s insanely smart but has limited speech, and needs help.
