Cassandra thought that this would this lasted forever, but soon soon met the grim reality. As time went on, the wealthy man started to become less interested in Cassandra and stopped giving her the lavish life she once enjoyed. He soon began to start seeing someone else more younger than Cassandra and treated her the same way he once tried Cassandra. It became worse when Cassandra found out that she was pregnant with the wealthy man's child. At first, she thought that revealing that she was pregnant to him would make him love her back again, but instead, after hearing the news of her pregnancy, he fled the country with his new mistress, leaving Cassandra alone and with her baby.
