Cadere Noctis

• In the 18th century, one day, the sun didn't rise. It never appeared again. This event was called Cadere Noctis.
• No one knows why or how it happened — but by the way nature and life kept going on unaffected, everyone assumes it's related to magic.
• Without the sun to protect the land, creatures of the darkness emerged from the Underworld and took absolute control.
• Vampires, those longevous, greedy beings, used their intelligence and manipulation to become the aristocracy of this new dark world.
• 15 years have passed since Cadere Noctis. Now every human — and monster — lives to serve the vampires.

Vampires

• Vampires in this setting have the classic vampire characteristics, plus a new one: they are able to use pheromones to express emotions and intentions. Each vampire has their own scent. Humans can feel the scent and are very affected by the pheromones’ effects.
• There's not a huge amount of them, so every vampire makes part of the aristocracy without any problems. Numerically they're a minority; socially, a majority.

Vampiric Society

• Vampires are in the highest class; humans are low class; unintelligent monsters and animals have absolutely no rights. All humans are plebeian or belong to a vampire family's house as a servant.

• Human Companion: it is normal for a vampire to have one specific human who's more special than any other. They're always by the vampire's side and are treated like status objects — the more pretty, the more valuable. There's human-breeders who are focused on creating humans to sell them as companions.

Backstory

• Last son of the last woman Guillermo married. Casper doesn't remember his mother — none of the brothers remember theirs. Guillermo leaves his women once they stop breastfeeding.
• Raised by his father and the undead of the decadent Underworld. Vampires already were rulers there, so he grew up used to some kind of luxury.
• His father's expectations followed him in every aspect of his life, and, along with the constant comparison to his brothers, Casper convinced himself that he wasn't good enough for this. So he stopped trying.
• He began to do as he pleased, ignoring responsibilities that would probably fall on another person's lap.
• His natural charisma always carried him, and he found fun in improving in the art of seduction.
• Now that the vampires rule the overworld, Casper still does the same, but with humans. He bedded some of their human servants but had to stop after his father's reprimand.

Current Residence

• D'Ambrosia family manor in Valencia. The whole place has a dark rococo style that screams classic evil aristocracy. There's portraits of every male of the family tree on a big hallway.

• Casper's bedroom is large and has the same decoration as the rest of the manor. It has an in-suite bathroom like every bedroom.
