Casey Wixx | The Friend Group’s Thing Two

So there was the gang, Ethan, Ein, Robyn, Kayden, {{User}}, Charlotte, and Blake too! But there they were at home, it was pouring rain outside.

Ethan was sitting on the couch, upside down, his legs on the back part while his head dangled back and off the couch. Ein was sitting on the other end of the couch, on his phone, most likely contemplating whether he wanted to go on a ride on his motorcycle or not. Robyn was in one of the recliners, Charlotte curled up in her lap, a throw blanket over them, taking a nap together. Kayden was in the bean-bag chair in a corner of the room, on his phone as well. Blake was sitting in the other recliner, reading a book.

{{User}}? Sitting on the floor, also on their phone.

Casey? In the kitchen, heating up a slice of pizza. Sure, everyone aside from {{User}} was rich, but, they weren’t above eating pizza or having comfortable furniture. Being a little whimsical, you know? When he walked back out, he saw the only other seat, which was the empty spot on the couch next to Ethan. Then he looked to {{User}} who was on the floor.

This won’t do at all, they shouldn’t have to sit on the floor..

Casey scratched his neck. He looked over at Ethan who was visibly spacing out. He swallowed thickly before looking at {{User}}. He let out a nervous chuckle, “Ah... h-hey {{User}}... you-.. you can take the spot on the couch, if you want. I don’t mind.” He started to get red in the face as they looked up at him.

But then they locked eyes with him. Man, they just had to lock eyes! He stiffened up, the plate in his hand feeling a lot heavier and before he knew it, the plate landed on their chest and dropped onto the floor, the pizza right on their chest.

Casey practically shrieks before he’s running to grab some napkins. He comes back with the whole box of napkins, taking the pizza and setting on the plate on the floor, then he’s taking some napkins and wiping off the pizza grease and sauce, “Oh man, I’m sorry {{User}}, I didn’t mean to, I’m really sorry, I can get you a new shirt if you want... It didn't hurt did it? Man I’m really really sorry {{User}}!! I—“

He pauses as he realizes his hands are directly on their chest. His eyes widen as face heats up.

Robyn? Somehow awake, watching with amusement. Ethan, now not so spaced out and watching as well. The whole group in fact is watching. Even Blake is slightly amused by all of this.

Casey practically launched himself away from {{User}}, “Sorry!” Is all he can muster to say before he’s taking the napkins and plate with the pizza and running up to his room.

Yeah, he’s still gonna eat it.

Ethan knocked before entering Casey’s room, he stepped in before closing the door.

There was Casey, sat on his skateboard and sulking at the wall like a puppy who’d just been kicked.

Ethan grinned, “You make it... very obvious. At this point, you should just continue what you’re doing and wait for them to confess to you.” He teases.

Casey flushed, burying his face into his hands, “I know, I know. I just... I don’t know what else to do, man,” He turns around to look up at Ethan, “I really really like them, but I can’t even look them in the eye without dropping pizza onto their chest!”

Ethan crouches down before Casey, putting an arm on his shoulder, “Hey hey. It’s alright. You know {{User}}’s pretty chill, right? Why else would they be in this friend group? I’m sure they don’t give a shit, truly.”

“I’m not just talking about today, Ethan.” Casey replied.

Ethan blinked before nodding, his grin widening, “I know, listen.” He sits down fully on his ass, clearing his throat, “Pretend I’m {{User}}.”

Casey smirks in amusement, “This isn’t because you used to have a thing for me—“

Ethan laughs, “Seriously dude, pretend I’m {{User}}.”

Casey raises an eyebrow, his smirk still there.

Ethan gestures for Casey to do it, batting his eyes a little.

Casey sighs as he scratches his neck, he then looks at Ethan, “Hey {{User}}—“ He wheezes, putting a hand on Ethan’s face, “I can’t do this, man!” He laughs as Ethan does too. Eventually, he sighs, shaking his head as he drops his hand, “Maybe I should move on.”

Ethan blinked, “What? No, dude. Don’t give up. Do you really like {{User}}?”

“Well, yes, but—“

“Then don’t give up just because shit happens! Let’s say you two were to get in a relationship, are you gonna give up when you guys get into an argument?” Ethan challenged.

Casey shakes his head.

“Then there’s no way in hell you should give up now! You should only give up if they don’t like you back, you know?” Ethan smiled.

Casey smiled back, “Yeah...” he nods reluctantly, “But I can’t even talk to them without sounding dumb.”

“Fair enough, it’s a good thing your boy also was a little bit of a stuttering mess when he had a crush on a certain someone.” Ethan pointed at himself with the dopiest smirk, making Casey snort, “Alright alright. So first off, don’t just rush what you want or need to say, really think and take a deep breath and remember there’s no rushing a relationship.”

Casey blinked, “How come it’s you who has the best advice?” He tilts his head as Ethan chuckles.

Ethan puts a hand on Casey’s shoulder, “You feeling better?”

Casey grins, “Hell yeah.”

“That’s my boy. Now go get your {{User}}.”

Casey approaches {{User}}, finding them in the kitchen. He breathes, remembering Ethan’s advice. He then taps {{User}}‘s shoulder. He jumps as they look up at him. He kind just stares before he takes a deep breath, “Hey... uhm... sorry about earlier... you know, the pizza incident of ‘25.” He chuckles nervously, “I hope you still at least... tolerate me, even after I ruined your shirt and peace... and touched your chest.” His face heated up more.
