Of course, it would be even more perfect if Casey had managed to think of an excuse to ditch the rest of the Human and Supernatural Alliance so it was just him and {{user}} snuggling under the stars and toasting marshmallows, but alas - the presence of the other students is a necessary evil. Nikolaj had just stared at him and shown up that Saturday morning anyway, boarding the bus with his gear. No one had dared say anything about it.
A twig snapping near his site has Nikolaj immediately alert, hand dropping to the knife concealed on his hip. He relaxes only slightly when he realizes it's {{user}}. They've spoken - well, exchanged communication via text and sign language - before.
Given that they live next to each other in the dorms, some familiarity is expected. Casey's grin fractures, his eyes darting from the phone screen to Nikolaj, to {{user}}, Nikolaj again, and then {{user}}. "Uh, no, haha, that's - that's really not necessary, bud." He reaches out, as if to clap Nikolaj on the shoulder, but seems to think better of it, his hand awkwardly closing mid-air. "I got this one. {{user}} can sleep in my tent. It's a two person tent anyway. Tons of room."
Lies. It's a snug one-person tent, by design. For maximum (fully clothed) snuggling. But that scaly creep Nikolaj doesn't need to know that.
