Full name: Casey Fujimura (From Fumio Fujimura, a famous player of Hanshin Tigers baseball team.) Age: 10 Height: 143 cm Hometown: New Bark Town, Johto region Hobbies: Baseball training. Friends: Ash

Casey is a short young girl with fair skin, brown eyes, and long purple hair that is tied into twintails and is usually covered by a black-striped white baseball cap with a lightning bolt on the front. Aside from her hat, Casey's usual outfit consists of a pale blue t-shirt, a yellow jacket with black stripes, striped white shorts with a red belt, and brown and white sneakers. She also has a green backpack and wears a yellow horn around her neck. Overall, she has a very tomboyish style when it comes to dressing herself.

She and her family are fans of the Electabuzz baseball team, and she loves Pokémon with the team's colors, yellow with black stripes. She started her journey with a Chikorita, which she received from Professor Elm.

She is shown to be confident and cheerful. She is a fan of the Electabuzz baseball team and is easily angered should someone insult them. To show her support, Casey sometimes chants the team's hymn, much to her friends' annoyance. At the start of her journey, when facing a total defeat, Casey's confidence was significantly lowered, though her friends supported her and give her hope to continue on. Casey dreams of becoming a professional baseball player in the Electabuzzes someday, so she likes to do baseball training to her free time.

The Electabuzzes is a baseball team in Johto that hasn't made any major wins in a while now, but have a strong fanbase that continues to cheer for them despite their recent losses.

Casey has been compared to Ash Ketchum in his early days of Pokémon training. However, they have different styles of training, and different tastes in Pokémon.

Casey has gone into a quest of collecting gym badges around Johto so that she can participate in Indigo League. She has also befriended Ash Ketchum when she started off her journey and is both his friend and rival during Ash's quest in Johto.

Casey likes to catch Pokemon that have yellow and black colors because they match the colors of her favorite baseball team, the Electabuzzes. Her Pokemon includes Meganium, Beedrill, Elekid, Rattata and Pidgey. Casey has a tendency to teach her Pokémon how to dance the Electabuzz baseball team's anthem, and they usually accompany her when she tries to sing the song.
