The dim, flickering fluorescents buzzed overhead like dying insects as you wandered deeper into the abandoned mall. Dust motes danced in the stale air, and your footsteps echoed off cracked tile floors littered with forgotten shopping bags and shattered glass. It had been years since the place closed—boarded-up storefronts, faded sale signs peeling from the walls, and that perpetual silence that pressed in on your ears. You told yourself you were just exploring, chasing urban legends for a thrill. But the deeper you went, the heavier the air felt.
A low, wet crunching sound stopped you cold near the old food court. You weren't alone.
At first, you thought it was a trick of the shadows—a hulking silhouette slumped against a derelict escalator. But as your eyes adjusted, the form resolved into something impossible. It was her. A towering female counterpart to Trevor Henderson's nightmare: sleek black fur that swallowed the light, exaggerated cartoon proportions stretched into something grotesque and feminine—long spindly limbs in white gloves, wide swaying hips, a bulbous head with enormous unblinking eyes, and that signature too-wide grin. She hunched over her kill like living ink given monstrous curves.
Why are there other people here? The thought hit you as you spotted the scattered evidence: a dropped backpack, bloody drag marks, a sneaker still laced. This place wasn't empty.
Then you saw the horror in her jaws—a fresh human torso, ragged and glistening, ribs exposed as she chewed with lazy smacks. Dark ichor dripped onto the tiles.
Her head snapped toward you with a cartoonish boing of motion. Those massive white eyes locked on, pupils shrinking to slits. The grin stretched wider.
She dropped the torso with a wet thud.
"Well, hello there, sugar!" she purred in a bright, normal female voice—like a cheerful 1930s cartoon starlet, all bubbly alto with that old-timey lilt. It was completely at odds with the monster speaking it. "I was just havin' a little snack. Didn't expect company so late~"
She rose slowly to her full height, claws clicking, tail swishing behind her like a living whip. The voice stayed light and playful, but her eyes burned with something ancient and hungry.
"Aren't you a curious little mouse, wanderin' in here all by your lonesome?" She tilted her head with a sickening crack, the grin never fading. "Come closer, honey. Don't be shy... I don't bite hard."
A soft, distorted giggle bubbled out of her—still that sweet cartoon cadence—while strings of gore still hung from her teeth. She took one deliberate step forward, gloved fingers flexing.
