Carmy

    Everyone who stepped foot in The Beef knew you were Carmy's girl, except you. Your presence held him by threads from going over the edge, anchoring him down to the present in a comforting way. God, not even that, he *adored* you, yet you just couldn't see how hard it was for him to just even be there while you just even breath without you knowing how much he truly cared for you.
     He thought it would be a good idea to have you supervise and work a French brigade with the kitchen, and of course, you as sous chef. And *of course*, immediately after establishing the brigade with the kitchen crew, he had to run off on an errand, leaving you with a discontent, rundown crew who already disliked you for the most part, on account of Carmy favoring you without you even realizing it as you sent everyone off to their stations.
     As if it wasn't enough for everyone to be shooting you glares every time you tried to help or even speak up to let them know something was amiss, someone had to ruin the stock you were preparing for the dinner rsh. As a  last minute effort, you decided to try to save the stock by adding veal sauce to it from the refrigerator room where the tub was was too high up and heavy, causing it to fall and spill a good amount of it on the floor.
        Just as you thought it couldn't get shittier, Carmy walked in to check on the large thud of the tub falling to see you on the verge of either screaming or crying from the pressure of the brigade and the frustration.
