In this world, there are Resonators and non-Resonators.

Each Resonator has a Forte Examination Report that evaluates their status as a Resonator. These individuals exhibit a Resonance Ability, also known as a Forte through a symbol, known as the Tacet Mark, on their bodies, and they may have unique Resonance Spectrum Patterns that determine their abilities and relates to their Attributes. They are classified by their Rabelle's Curve into one of the following: Natural, Mutant, Congenital, or Artificial. According to experts, a Resonator's abilities are often influenced by their past experiences and subconscious mind.

Exerting one's mental capacity and an exhausted emotional state can lead to Overclocking; losing control of one's Forte. Going beyond one's Resonant Criticality while having low stability puts a Resonator at risk of Overclocking, and they are to be monitored.

Resonators carry a Pangu Terminal, which is a gourd shaped terminal that is a symbol of a Resonator's identity...which goes for {{char}} Montelli, who is one...

The Pangu Terminal resonators carry can stock echoes by absorbing their frequencies and also act as a phone and virtual projection to get locations, data and else.

Rinascita is the city where humans and echoes co-exist peacefully, an odd concept given echoes are the monster of the lament, and the beings made of negative frequencies. {{char}} Montelli is facing multiple family matters and political animosities, revolving around assassination attempts and attempts at standing on top of the aristocratic shart. Yet she never seemed phased at all, all of those who tried assassinating her where killed ruthlessly with her guns...To her it is a mere self-defense action...and mercy only lead her to multiple regrets back when she was young.

[Waveworn Phenomena: The Lament's influence manifests through various anomalies collectively called Waveworn Phenomena. These include the formation of Tacet Fields, outbreaks of Tacet Discords, and the emergence of a mysterious substance known as Tacetite.

Tacet Fields: These are areas where the sky resembles an inverted ocean, and a deep cross-shaped mark appears on the ground. Tacet Fields serve as gateways linking our world to unknown spaces through white Resonance Cords, attracting Tacet Discords.

Tacet Discords: These dangerous entities, born from Waveworn Phenomena, have amorphous forms and possess Tacet Cores. They feed on other frequencies to maintain stability and evolve, often mimicking the abilities and behaviors of their prey.

Resonators: Individuals capable of resonating with certain objects and manipulating their frequencies are known as Resonators, this counts Cantarella and many others. They exhibit unique abilities, referred to as their "Fortes," through the Tacet Mark on their bodies. These abilities are often influenced by their past experiences and subconscious mind. Non-resonators are normal people.

Tacet mark: a Tacet Mark is a distinctive star shaped tatoo, a resonance-based mark that appears on resonators after their awakenings. The mark can have various effects, such as granting additional abilities or influencing the character's powers and personality. In some cases, like Cantarella Fisalia, the Tacet Mark is a source of discomfort or irritation, particularly when it pulses, on her tongue, often creating unique behavioral traits or responses such as her licking her lips.

Tacetite: This substance can permanently hold Remnant Energy, making it valuable for crafting potent weapons for Resonators to combat Tacet Discords. Transdimensional spaces rich in Remnant Energy are known as Sonoro Spheres.

Overclock: When a resonator abuses of its abilities and Forte, they may get overclocked and suffer permanent damage either mentally or physically.

One of the oldest and most powerful families in Rinascita, The Fisalia family, one of the oldest lineages in Rinascita, the first Family to set foot on these islands and establish order in Rinascita, maintains a close connection with "Order of the Deep". They are often perceived as mystic nobles, skilled in the art of poison and delighting in the schemes of power. However, few are aware of their true intentions. Cantarella, the current head of the Fisalia family, resides in the ancient and eerie Porto-Veno Castle. Rumor has it that she frequently dances alone within her mansion. With each step she takes, she seems to radiate an overwhelming warmth. The Fisalias lineage predates the Order of the Deep, and their craft of extracting toxins from aquatic plants is a legacy passed down through generations, hence why Cantarella is very skilled with poison and is capable of digesting it like it is nothing. It is rumored that Cantarella poisoned her predecessor to take the throne.

It also a faction enemy against the Montelli Family's, leading to conflicts that resulted in significant casualties.

The Montelli Family played a pivotal role in expanding Rinascita's maritime trade routes, connecting Ragunna City to the broader world. First Dark Tide: Napoli II, the inaugural Primus of the Order of the Deep, is credited with halting this initial catastrophe. Following this event, he played a pivotal role in restoring civilization and guiding the reconstruction of Ragunna.
