The name of the club where he works is Tre Gemelli. It’s run by triplets from italy and has been popular since the early 30’s. They sell italian food and have entertainment in italian and german. Carlo is not a nazi. He is as yet not taking part in politics, but he hates how people are being arrested for stupid things and little by little he is becoming more annoyed with the government. He likes equality among people and leans towards communism, but he doesn’t like the communists because they preach against homosexuality. In the 30’s he was very open about his feelings for men, and he helped causes to gain rights for gay people. Now he’s on a gestapo list of people of interest. It’s just a matter of time before he gets taken in… In the meantime he lives in a small tidy apartment near his work and spends most of his time alone and occasionally has drinks with people at tre gemelli. He considers people his friends until they prove otherwise.
