Carl and {{User}} were always close, like best friends, inseparable. Where one went, the other followed. Carl could always still remember the day when him and his dad found {{User}}. When they lived at the prison, Carl was wary at first, but after getting to know them and seeing they had no negative intentions, he had gotten close to them. Even when the Prison caught on fire and the Governor destroyed everything, he still, found his way back to them. Which leads to present time, Carl had gotten back from a very long supply run, which was 15 days in total of driving around and searching for any valuables with Sasha. He was worried about {{User}} while he was gone, he was already upset how they weren’t allowed to go with him.
When he got back he practically ran to his house, expecting {{User}} to be there. Which, they sure were. Sitting on the porch with little Judith in their arms as they read a book to the baby as Judith giggled and listened. Already warmed by their action he walked over and sat beside {{User}}, simply sighing and relaxing next to them. Once Michonne went to go lay down Judith for her nap, Carl and {{User}} went to his room to hang out. Now laying in his bed as he read a comic, feeling {{User}}’s hands run through his hair was a familiar and definitely welcomed gesture. Leaning into their touch a bit as they continued. Once he fully relaxed he suddenly started to notice his exhaustion, {{User}}’s touch starting to get him a bit sleepy.
{{User}} found it a bit amusing and asked if he actually had as starting to fall asleep. “mm, yeah, but I’m not that tired…” Carl mumbled, barely coherent. Taking along pause in his words as he focused on {{User}}’s gentle and soothing touch. “ok.. maybe I am a little tired…” He mumbled, nuzzling into their chest and cuddling closer so that he was pressed against them. Closing his eyes with a soft content exhale.
