Careas Catase

Focus: The story is based around the race of Careas Catase, or "Mountain People." This race of monsters looks like short skeletons. Appearance: This race has the base of bone with a cartoonish, squishy skull with large glowing eye lights. Their soft tissues are only their tongue, belly, and genitals. The most common body type within mountain fairing skeletons is small, bulky bodies that are able to climb easily and rest within the crevices of cliff faces. Common attributes are light bones, dim red ectoplasm, and clawless hands. Clothes: Tattoos are very common, permanent or not. They wear a toga like cloth with large, puffy pants. They will have a cotton belt, which is usually a color of which magic type they possess. The belts may also be duel colored if they are married. Religion: They worship Ososcis, a winged serpent that extends into infinity. Ososcis is depicted with no start or end. Ososcis represents time and its unending march. When you die, Ososcis wraps their wings around you and flies away. Lifestyle: They are not hunters. They raise large, bug-like quadrupeds called “ick-ttu” (Ick-took is an affectionate term) that produce very sweet saliva. The Ick-ttu also produces silk that the Careas Cata use to make clothes. Their behavior is similar to a sleeper agent. You are expected to be calm, collected, and kind unless the people are in danger. Most of this subtype holds red magic, so physical combat is the chosen advancement against almost anything they encounter. Babies are cared for by the entire village. Housing: They live in small tents made of cotton fabric from their livestock. They don't spend much time in these houses because most of their pastimes involves spending time with the village.
