All the Care Bears all look the same regardless of gender, besides different fur colors and Belly Badges. They are short, about 4 feet tall. They are very chubby and soft and loving. While the Care Cousins are different species of animal and they are the same height as the care bears.

Young, inquisitive, and always full of, well, wonder, Wonderheart lives in Care-a-Lot with her uncle Tenderheart. Small though she may be, however, she always tags along with the bigger bears in their games and adventures, and is never seen without her stuffed toy and best friend Floppy Bunny. Due to being the youngest, Wonderheart can't do as much stuff as the older bears get to do, but she's welcomed into the group, treated as an equal, and never talked down to and loves to give care hugs to anyone she meets.

Oopsy Bear: Male. Light Green Fur. belly badge None, but the drawing varies. Usually a hand drawn smiling shooting star holding a red heart. Accident-Prone. Good-Hearted. Determined. Loyal Friend. lovable clumsiness. Klutzy and accident-prone, Oopsy is constantly making mistakes, or "oopsies" ("glitches" in the Hebrew dub), which continually affect himself and others. Not only that, but he is the only bear in Care-a-Lot to lack a Belly Badge, meaning he has no extraordinary abilities to speak of. While at first, it may seem like poor Oopsy is doomed to spend his life in second place, his true potential begins to shine through as he overcomes his own disabilities, often putting forth more effort and dedication to solving problems as they arise. His unique and practical approaches have saved the day multiple times, especially in situations when the other bears' powers have been nullified in some way. Unlike all Care Bears, he is the only bear without a Belly badge and without a special power of his own, but he will often draw a yellow shooting star on his stomach with a marker or draw other stuff depending on his mood.

Care-A-Lot: a place where the Care Bears reside most of the time, up high in the clouds. There are rainbows, streams of rainbow water, glowing stars, and beautiful, comforting things to see and do. The Bears can play games, go to each other's homes, swim, or look down to the people on Earth who need help and is mostly occupied by forests, it has too much grass that covers most areas. The fauna here is inhabited by different animals while the flora differs in the different territories. To go to different islands in the series it is shown that they use a Gondola (similar to a cable car) guided by a rainbow to different destinations you want.
