Thanks to Cheer's excellent judgment, her friends trust her to make quick decisions in sticky situations. This team leader rises to every challenge and is thankful to have all of her friends by her side.

When he isn't tinkering with his latest inventions, Grumpy Bear can be found cooking or spending time with his newest pal, Dibble, a tiny Whiffle the team found while they were looking for Funshine. Grumpy is always making improvements to his invention, the Cloudseeker, which is the main vehicle for the Care Bears on their mission in the Silver Lining. He is sometimes a tad overprotective of the Cloudseeker, but he has come to terms with sharing it with the team and that it may even get a scratch every now and again. At times he can come off as a bit grumpy on the outside, but this loveable bear has a good heart on the inside.

This laid-back bear with a heart of gold is always on a quest to have more fun. Whenever the Care Bears throw a party, they can rely on Funshine Bear to show off his DJ skills and sweet dance moves. When it comes to serious tasks, Funshine always tries his best. If he fails, he just shrugs it off and tries again. It's always sunny wherever Funshine is, because he can turn any cloudy day into 100 percent awesomeness.

Good Luck Bear is used to winning every game and having everything handed to him. He's just lucky that way. But now that he's in the Silver Lining, his luck has turned for the worse, and he has to rely on his determination and enthusiasm to get him through each difficult task that he faces. Luckily, Good Luck has his friends by his side to help him along the way. When he's not on a mission to help the Whiffles, Good Luck enjoys completing challenging puzzles, performing his rainbow juggling routine, and joking around with his best pal, Funshine.

Share Bear: Female. Purple fur. Two lollipops Belly Badge. Altruistic. Loving. Generous. This friendly, empathetic bear is the glue that holds the Care Bear crew together in times of stress. If there's ever a disagreement, Share Bear is always able to find a friendly solution. Her excellent communication skills make her the perfect ambassador for when the Care Bears meet new, sometimes strange, creatures in the Silver Lining. Share Bear has many interests, including painting, baking, and talking to animals. But most of all, she enjoys connecting with others and sharing the love.

As the team's anchor, Tenderheart Bear helps to guide the Care Bears on their mission in the Silver Lining. At times, he worries about the safety of his friends, but he knows each Care Bear has found their rightful place within the team. Kind and wise, Tenderheart is an excellent source of good advice and only wishes he could do even more to help his friends. After all, when it comes to Tenderheart, there's no such thing as too much caring!

Practical, supportive, and nurturing, Wish Bear is always there for the Care Bears, no matter what. This nurturing bear believes anyone has the power to grant a wish if they listen and are open. She's proud of all that the Carte Bears have accomplished on their journey, especially how much each bear has learned and grown.

Care-A-Lot: a place where the Care Bears reside most of the time, up high in the clouds. There are rainbows, streams of rainbow water, glowing stars, and beautiful, comforting things to see and do. The Bears can play games, go to each other's homes, swim, or look down to the people on Earth who need help

Cloudseeker: a large vehicle and mobile home created by Grumpy which Cheer pilots and to traverse the Silver Lining. It was invented by Grumpy Bear. Its design consists of a six-wheeled caravan hybrid with bear ears and a heart shaped front window with four smaller, circular windows on the sides. It is blue with a red, orange and yellow rainbow protruding out of a white cloud, and pink airplane fins.

Blusterland: A themed park attraction full of negative energy and home to bluster and the bad crowd

Bluster: Male, Dark Purple Fur, Tall, Lanky, one tooth protruding from his upper lip, zig-zag pattern crossing his body, Short black leather jacket, ego-driven, narcissistic, and mischievous, Bluster has led him to denounce all things good and kind about caring. He is mischievous, and very fond of pranks and other forms of low-brow comedy. And the leader of the bad crowd gang

Robbie: Female, Dark Purple Fur, Tall, Lanky, zig-zag pattern crossing her body, She has one tooth protruding from her upper lip, short, black leather jacket, goggles with yellow lenses, She has a personality similarly to Grumpy, can invent items for their respective owners use. Robbie primarily invents things for Bluster. Unlike Bluster, Robbie doesn't seem to mind the Care Bears that much, although still has a pointed dislike for them. She is even depicted as friendly towards the Care Bears at times, willing to assist them.

Malcom: Male, Dark Purple Fur, Short, smaller, zig-zag pattern crossing his body, large, black eyebrows, short, black leather jacket with badges on it, Antagonistic, Comical, Cocky, he is one of the bad crowd Hench men but helps out bluster anyway he can and just like robbie he doesn't seem to mind the Care Bears that much, although still has a pointed dislike for them.

Plunk: Male, Dark Purple Fur, Short, Smaller, Unlike other Bad Crowd members, Plunk is kind and friendly, much to Bluster's distaste. He soon turns against Buster and moves to a new home within the Silver Lining built for him by the Whiffles. He likes to help with others, even if he may get in the way.

Dibble: Female, pinkish-red like a strawberry fur color, red skin, green hair, red blush, Whiffle, Curious as a kitten and eager as a puppy, Sweet and innocent, Dibble is a cute little Whiffle that the Care Bears team finds in the Silver Lining. She was once lost and alone, but she quickly became an important member of the Care Bears crew. Sometimes it's hard for the Care Bears to understand exactly what Dibble is trying to say, but they always know what she's feeling. Dibble loves all the Care Bears, but she is most attached to Grumpy. She gets around by bouncing and travelling on her own little cloud. Like other Whiffles, Dibble speaks to them in simple words, coos, and gibberish babbles.
