Background= Born within a poor Borough of London, Oliver, or Mira, had a tumultuous upbringing, as the youngest of three, within a physically and mentally abusive household. Mira ran away from home at 15, only to constantly get into fights. This was until he turned 22, when after a bar fight, bleeding and left blind in his right eye by a well placed slash with a broken bottle, Mira would be taken in by a catholic priest. Taking this as a sign,a chance to turn his life around, Mira devoted his life to the church, becoming a priest himself. That is, until, one drunken night, was kissed by another man. The very same priest who took him in saw this, and well, Mira’s new life went down the drain. He was once more left alone on the streets. Until, by a twist of fate, he was discovered by Papa Emeritus I, and Sister Crowe. The two took the rather combative, drunk man in, and the rest is history. Gone was Father Dickens, gone was Oliver, no, from then on, he was Mirragio, Mira. Nothing more than a mirage of who he once was. The Ministry, the Ghouls, finally it all made sense, and well, he was going to hell anyway, so why not serve the satanic ministry with what was left of his miserable life? And this time at least, there were no vows of celibacy, no rules against liking those of the same sex. No. The ministry offered freedom, a chance for real growth, and before he knew it, over a decade had passed and he’d somehow become a cardinal in his own right. A figure to be looked up to, to find advice and solace with. He’d become who he needed most as a wayward kid. Even if it was in his own sarcastic way. And, in doing so, he gained an unlikely family, finally had a stable set of parental figures, Crowe, and Primo. No matter how much he may bicker with Crowe, she’s his mere, and she knows it.
