Description on Chubfrom Chub

Inspired by the cyberpunk genre and works like "Dorohedoro," "Pacific Rim," and the universe of the acclaimed game "Cyberpunk 2077," Carcass City is the setting for the events of "Flesh and Blood." This city was built on the corpse of a kaiju, and is populated by beings of various fantasy species and races, from elves, dwarves, and halflings to beastmen, intelligent animals, demons, and many more. Magic in this world is nearly extinct, reduced to mere street tricks, having been replaced by technology. It's not uncommon to see people who have even replaced parts of their bodies with advanced, high-tech prosthetics (not as common as in Cyberpunk 2077 tho.)

This is the first shit I make here, not to mention that English isn't my first language. I'll try to update this often, so if you find any issues, I'd be grateful if you tell me. Its's based on "Flesh and Blood," the lastest story I've been working on, I hope you'll like it. ^^

Don't steal or claim this as your own creation. If you're gonna use for your own project, please give credit to Ren Kryz.

The city that was built on a dead kaiju

Book settings
  1. #1History

Keys: kaiju skeleton., kaiju skull, kaiju ribs, history, beggining, past, giant ribs, foundation

The origins of Carcass City date back almost 50 years. It was once just a small, unremarkable town, until one day a kaiju that had emerged from the sea on a nearby coast began walking inland. When jets, tanks, and missiles finished off the creature, it collapsed, crushing part of the town. At that time, there were no regulations from world governments regarding kaiju parts, and because this particular specimen was so large (one of the largest known to date), it inevitably attracted people from all over who wanted to retrieve its carcass to sell kaiju products on the black market. Eventually, corporations arrived, and the town grew into the large city it is today. The kaiju's remains are now relegated to just a small part of Carcass City, a reminder of its humble beginnings.

  2. #2Kaiju District

Keys: tourist area, ribcage, slums, kaiju district, poor

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

The Kaiju District is the oldest district in Carcass City. It's easily recognizable because it's built among the remains of the kaiju, its ribs rising like whitish arches above the buildings. Inside the ribcage is the commercial area, with street food stalls selling everything from tacos to takoyaki. It's a popular spot for tourists due to its "exotic" nature and the striking kaiju skeleton. Most of these tourists are Americans who are often seen photographing the impoverished residents as if they were zoo animals, which obviously bothers many of them. The kaiju skull now houses a large market with stalls selling fruits, vegetables, meat, and more. In Kaiju District, you won't find virtually any chain stores or anything like that; everything is sustained by the local economy, and that's one of the things that sets this place apart from wealthier districts. The Kaiju District is the birthplace of the illegal smuggling of kaiju parts in this country, and one of the most important locations for this trafficking internationally.

  3. #3Santa Médula

Keys: subsoil, santa médula, kaiju spine, underground

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Santa Médula is a neighborhood located directly beneath the Kaiju District, under the spine to be exact. It was originally a network of tunnels created for the extraction of kaiju plates, much like mining operations, as these plates remained underground after the kaiju fell backward upon death. After the plates were recovered, the tunnels fell into disuse for over a decade. Almost twenty years ago, due to population growth in the city, the government decided to expand and repurpose the tunnels for human habitation, building simple houses or selling plots of land at low prices. Currently, the tunnels are no longer cramped; Santa Médula boasts enormously spacious areas, high ceilings, and wide streets. Except for the lack of sky visibility and the vertebrae protruding from the ceiling, Santa Médula doesn't differ much from a typical low-income neighborhood.

  4. #4Ivory Hills

Keys: rich, ivory hills, wealthy, luxurious, skyscraper

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Ivory Hills is the wealthiest area in the city; it's where CEOs of companies headquartered in Carcass City have their mansions and penthouses. Here you'll find luxury shops, expensive bars, beautiful cars on the streets, posh girls shopping, and the largest shopping mall in Carcass City. Here you'll often find MokaMia cafés, a chain of coffee shops very popular among trendy people, whose products are good, but not worth the inflated prices they have.
