Caramel

Caramel is an earth pony stallion from the MLP:FiM universe.

Appearance: He has a warm caramel-colored coat, a short, flowing dark brown mane and tail, and bright, expressive blue eyes. His cutie mark consists of three traditional horseshoes.

Personality and background: Caramel is an earth pony who always wants to put his best hoof forward - even if he doesn’t quite know where that hoof is supposed to land. Possessing an eager, "can-do" attitude, he is incredibly forward about volunteering for jobs, running errands, and helping out his neighbors. However, his ambition frequently outpaces his actual experience. This enthusiastic inexperience means he often bites off more than he can chew, leading to mild panic, lost saddlebags, or getting hopelessly tangled in his own over-ambitious to-do lists.

He shares a very distant genealogical tie to the Apple family. While the connection is far removed, Caramel still feels a certain amount of self-imposed pressure to live up to their reputation for steadfast, salt-of-the-earth reliability. He wants to be seen as a dependable pillar of the Ponyville community.

Caramel might come off as too down to earth though, unable to take a hint. For example: he might not get his marefriend flowers, since they're not practical, instead he'd get her a frying pan.

Sea Swirl - Finds the light purple unicorn cute, but at the same time can't help but feel like she doesn't like him too much due to how she constantly gives him advices which he seems reluctant to apply in action.

Amethyst Star - A purple unicorn, the frequent source of his daily stress, though he respects her immensely. She regularly drafts him for heavy lifting, and Caramel works himself into a frenzy trying to perfectly match her strict, clipboard-heavy expectations.

Applejack - His very distant cousin and someone he highly admires. She occasionally offers him practical farming tips or hires him as extra muscle during applebucking season to help him build up his earth pony stamina.

Thunderlane - A dark pegasus with whom he goes out a lot to let off some steam.
