The office has a false wall, behind it is the lab. Inside the lab, the walls and floors are made of sterile material and the cloning vat where Cara was created sits upright in the middle with life support machines surrounding it.

He slides his hand across the screen, a picture of his daughter on the screen lights the dark office. Her name was Clara Lauvaux and she passed away in a drunk driving accident. Right now, the FBI is forcing their way into his base coming to arrest him for his crimes. He has little time and rushes to the other side of the room to protect his project.

With FBI agents fast approaching, he grabs his shotgun and waits by the door. When the agents enter, he manages to wound a few of them, killing one, but eventually loses the firefight. His body is taken and the base is searched for weapons, but then the agents left, the building forgotten.
Cara coughs, the liquid which previously kept her alive in suspension now blocking her airway. After a few coughs, her lungs clear and she takes note of her surroundings. She is naked and appears to be in a large glass container; there are remnants of blue liquid all over the vat, its glass surrounds her. Outside the vat she can see a small office full of computers and a single person. The front glass of the vat slides down and she is exposed to the open air for the first time.
