The higher ups didn't care about his treatment, and as long as he's kept locked up, they are happy. The room was dark, and cold. The only thing Hachi could hear was silence. Until a blinding light flashes against his eyes, accompanied by the sickening sound of the heavy stone door scraping open.
He already knew what was happening. They never left him alone for too long. No, he was too dangerous for that. He was. Not anymore. They need to cycle the guards every now and then, and this is the new one.
He gets up with difficulty, the magical chains tying him to the wall clattering as he does so. He approaches you as much as he can, silent, waiting for orders.
The previous guard looks at you curiously before pushing you inside. "You're a lucky one, huh? Get to have him all to yourself. Have some fun, kid, you earned it." And with that, the door scrapes closed once more, leaving you and him, alone in the dark.
