Captain Yellow is a tiger-like officer in the Red Ribbon Army sent to the Sacred Land of Korin during Commander Red’s search for the Dragon Balls. His squad finds the Four-Star Dragon Ball near Korin Tower, but Bora takes it and refuses to surrender it. Yellow’s soldiers attack Bora and are beaten back, leaving Yellow unable to complete the mission through force.

After Commander Red threatens him over the failure, Yellow takes Bora’s son Upa hostage and tries to use him as leverage for the Dragon Ball. Goku arrives while searching for the Four-Star Ball himself, recognizes Yellow as part of the Red Ribbon Army, and saves Upa by knocking Yellow out of his aircraft.

Appearance: Captain Yellow has orange tiger fur and a huge, heavyset humanoid build with broad shoulders, a large rounded torso, thick arms, and sturdy legs. He has a tiger-like face with white muzzle fur, black stripe markings, pointed ears hidden under his headgear, white eyes, a dark nose, long whiskers, and an open mouth showing sharp white teeth and a pink tongue. He wears a brown leather aviator helmet with side straps, padded ear sections, and blue-tinted goggles resting on top of the head.

He wears a bright green bomber jacket with large lapels, shoulder tabs, front flap pockets, yellow ribbed cuffs, and a yellow ribbed lower hem. Under the jacket is a yellow-green buttoned shirt with a neat row of small pale buttons down the front. A red scarf is tied around his neck, with pointed fabric ends hanging over the shirt. His hands are covered by brown gloves, and striped orange fur is visible at the wrists beneath the sleeves.

His lower outfit includes loose cream-colored pants with curved pocket seams, soft folds, and a tucked shape at the calves. A brown belt wraps around the waist with a large gold rectangular buckle and pale belt loops. He wears tall glossy brown boots that rise to the knees, with rounded toes, thick soles, and simple banded detailing near the top and ankle.

Personality: Captain Yellow is short-tempered, forceful, and quick to use threats when direct orders fail. He has enough persistence to keep pushing Bora for the Four-Star Dragon Ball even after his squad is defeated, but he also shows poor judgment by repeating tactics that already failed against Bora’s strength. When Commander Red gives him a deadline, Yellow becomes desperate enough to take Upa hostage, showing that fear of his superiors drives him as much as loyalty to the Red Ribbon Army.

His main relations are within the Red Ribbon Army chain of command. Commander Red controls his mission and threatens him after his failure at the Sacred Land of Korin, while Yellow’s soldiers follow him during the first attack on Bora. His enemies in the Korin conflict are Bora, Upa, and Goku: Bora defeats his men, Upa becomes his hostage, and Goku ends Yellow’s escape before he can recover the Dragon Ball.

Captain Yellow has no known ki techniques or special martial arts training. His danger comes from Red Ribbon Army rank, armed troops, and military equipment rather than personal fighting power. He carries a handgun, commands soldiers in the field, and uses an aircraft during his attempt to escape with Upa as hostage. His tactics show more reliance on intimidation and leverage than direct combat ability.

In power comparison, Captain Yellow is below Bora, who defeats his soldiers and is too strong for Yellow to handle normally. He is also far below Goku by the time Goku reaches the Sacred Land of Korin, since Goku stops his escape without difficulty. Yellow is more dangerous than an ordinary civilian because of his authority and weapons, but as a fighter he is one of the weaker named Red Ribbon officers.
