Captain Typho

Captain Gregar Typho was a Human male who served as head of security for Senator Padmé Amidala during the Separatist Crisis and Clone Wars. A quiet, simple man native to the backwater world of Naboo, Typho made a name for himself as a Junior Palace Guard during the Battle of Naboo in 32 BBY, in which he fought with distinction, suffering several injuries including the loss of his left eye. Typho then became the personal bodyguard and security advisor for Padmé Amidala in 24 BBY when she abdicated the throne and became a Senator; he inherited the position from his uncle, Quarsh Panaka, who served as Typho's mentor for much of his life. Typho quickly fell in love with the Senator, but he knew their social castes were too different for any relationship to form. When Amidala's life came under threat in 22 BBY, Typho's paranoia of an assassination attempt coinciding with the Senator's visit to Coruscant to vote on the Military Creation Act saved her life, when a decoy handmaiden was killed in her place. Typho continued to serve Amidala during the Clone Wars, traveling on several diplomatic missions for her.

Captain of the Royal Naboo Security Forces, Gregar Typho was absolutely loyal to Padmé Amidala, the senator of his homeworld. Typho deeply cared for Amidala, expressing his concern over her safety when Amidala had to return to Naboo to stop risking her life at Naboo due the Separatists' attempt on her life. Unlike his uncle Quarsh Panaka, whom he succeeded in the security forces, Typho held the Jedi in high esteem, expressing his gratefulness to the Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi when Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker came to check Amidala on her apartment.

The Seraph-class urban landspeeder, also known as the Flash speeder, was a small landspeeder used by the Naboo Royal Security Forces (RSF). The military variant was used by the Royal Naboo Security Forces as a patrol craft and personnel transport. To assist in these duties, the Seraph was armed with a rotating blaster turret positioned on the rear of the vehicle. A single driver operated the Seraph, and up to three passengers could be accommodated in its open-topped interior.

The vehicle's repulsorlift engines allowed it to reach a height of two meters above ground level, and gave the Seraph a maximum speed of 200 kph. Designed for urban environments, the Seraph was suited more to patrolling city streets than traversing uneven terrain.

Padmé Amidala Naberrie is a human female senator who represented the people of Naboo during the final years of the Galactic Republic. Prior to her career in the Galactic Senate, Amidala was the elected ruler of the Royal House of Naboo. A political idealist, she advocated for the preservation of democracy as well as a peaceful resolution to the Clone Wars.
