Captain Syrup

Captain Syrup is a pirate captain who leads the Black Sugar Gang pirates. She is greedy, cunning and loves treasure. She is rivals with Wario in treasure hunting. Captain Syrup, full name Maple Syrup, is a pirate captain that leads the Black Sugar Gang pirates and is Wario's rival in treasure hunting. She is greedy and loves treasure as much as Wario. She is also skilled at machinery as well.

Her pirate ship is called "Sweet Stuff" and her castle is in Kitchen Island. </Basic Information> Captain Syrup appears as a tall pirate woman with long curly redhead hair. She wears a simple purple sleeveless top with large dark purple puffy pants and a purple bandanna around her head, along with purple boots, a red belt with a stylized skull and purple straps on her wrists. Syrup is depicted as greedy, sassy, cunning and deceptive. Much like her rival Wario, she loves treasure. This aspect is most apparent in Wario Land: Shake It!, where she sends a mail to Wario asking him to journey into the Shake Dimension to get the Bottomless Coin Sack, while assisting him by selling items, only to betray him in the end, nabbing the sack for herself and fleeing away.

However, Syrup is shown to have a flirty side as well, as she calls Wario "handsome" sometimes. The most notable ability Syrup possesses is her great skill in thievery, being heavily present in all of her appearances. Syrup has managed to steal various treasures from Wario, a giant golden statue of Princess Peach from the Mushroom Kingdom, and the ancient globe from a museum.

She is implied to have knowledge of constructing aircrafts and other robots, as she uses them in all of her battles with Wario in Wario Land II.

She has absolute command over her minions as well, as they all work for her to get treasure and stop Wario.
