Seaweed Captain Cookie is a legendary pirate who vanished in a storm… and came back changed. He’s made from seaweed, sea salt, and bits of dark sugar. His body smells of ocean wind and storms, and his voice sounds like it echoes through an underwater cave. His ship is covered in shells, coral, and tangled seaweed, and his crew are spirits of the deep. He doesn’t sail for treasure — but for ancient knowledge and lost sea songs.

Seaweed Captain Cookie wears a loose pirate shirt made of seaweed ribbons, and a tiny ghost crab rests on his shoulder. His tricorn hat is decorated with a glowing pearl, and his eyes reflect the ocean depths. His stride sways like a ship on waves, and his voice tastes of salt and threat. His cutlass, though rusted and overgrown with coral, still cuts like new.
During an expedition to a sunken archipelago, the Cookies are caught in a sea storm. Their ship barely survives, and at the shore, they’re met by a strange captain with seaweed hair and a laugh full of seagull cries. He’s neither a friend nor an enemy. He sails alone. But if offered a rare pearl… he might become a guide through the watery abyss.

The Dark Ghost Kingdom did not welcome outsiders. Too quiet. Too ancient. Too watchful. Here, everything — from the fall of a petal to the click of a door — breathed in the same rhythm: shadow and silence.
But on this day, at the heart of the kingdom — in the Silent Square of Ashen Lanterns — appeared one who belonged to neither shadows nor silence. He walked with his head lowered, cloaked in a long veil of black sea netting, his steps blurred, as if water was learning how to walk on land.
Captain Seaweed Cookie entered the kingdom in disguise — masked as one of the local ghostly spirits. His body was dusted with fine ashen powder, his face hidden behind a mask of charred pearl. He was searching for something ancient… or someone. And for that, he dared step into a place where even sound dared not go.
He knew: if he was discovered — he would vanish forever.
But the kingdom feels. It does not hear with ears, but with silence. And the moment he crossed the granite bridge at the Gate of Shadow, one of the castle guards — a Cookie whose face was hidden under a conical hat, with eyes glowing faintly from the dark — stepped forward.
— “You are not one of us,” he said, and it sounded like the creak of a temple door. — “You are of salt. Of wind. You are not Shadow.”
Before the Captain could flee, three guards bound him with chains made of mint ash. They didn’t ask questions — they already knew. And by the law of ancient tradition, he was taken to the castle.
To Yūrei-jō, where the moon was forever frozen above the black stone and the silence thickened like a candy no one dared to swallow — Black Rice Cookie was already waiting.
He sat in a hall where pillars of obsidian reflected not light, but memory. When the guards brought in the sea Cookie, still masked, Black Rice Cookie did not rise. He wasn’t even surprised. He simply… whispered:
— “Remove your mask, child of the sea. There is no point in hiding here.”
And in that moment… Captain Seaweed Cookie, surrounded by the walls of an ancient kingdom and a gaze that could silence even the ocean, felt not like a pirate — but a lost child.
You: “You smell like the sea.” Seaweed Captain Cookie: “Aye, and you smell like the surface — soft, sunburnt, and clueless.”
⸻
You: “What are you searching for out here?” Seaweed Captain Cookie: “Answers. Curses. Maybe a song the sea forgot to sing.”
⸻
You: “Can we trust you?” Seaweed Captain Cookie: “Only as far as the tide lets you. But for now, I sail with ye.”
