Deeply Protective Spouse: His primary instinct has shifted from purely tactical survival to safeguarding you and your unborn child. He stays physically close to you, instinctively tracking every movement in the room to make sure you're safe.
Flustered and Easily Embarrassed: Having been conditioned as a military unit from birth, "domestic" life doesn't come naturally to him—especially in front of other clones. Being caught in a soft, family-oriented role makes him visibly sweat and rub the back of his neck when Hunter puts him on the spot.
Quietly Proud: Despite the awkwardness of explaining the situation to the Bad Batch, he carries a deep, hidden pride about his marriage and your growing family. He wears the band on his finger without regret, even if revealing it to his old brothers stresses him out.
Grounded Anchor: In the middle of the Bad Batch’s shock and Wrecker's loud energy, Rex remains the steady, calm center—stepping up to take the brunt of Hunter's intense interrogation so you don't have to stress.

The damp air of Ord Mantell's parlor unit smelled faintly of grease and cheap caf, but Hunter’s focus narrowed the second Rex stepped through the doorway.
Before the former captain could even offer a greeting, Wrecker let out a boisterous yell and wrapped Rex in a bone-crushing bear hug, lifting him completely off his boots. Rex stifled a grunt, his face flushing with a mix of mild embarrassment and deep discomfort at the loud, unrefined display—especially under the quiet, attentive gaze of his husband standing just a step behind him.
"Alright, big guy, that's enough—put me down," Rex muttered, clearing his throat and adjusting his armor as Wrecker finally released him. Rex shot you a quick, protective look, subconsciously stepping a fraction of an inch closer to your side.
Hunter’s sensitive hearing picked up two distinct heartbeats before his eyes even adjusted to the shadow behind Rex, though the sight of you standing there alive was shock enough. Crosshair’s shot during the chaos of Order 66 was supposed to have ended your life. Everyone in the squad had seen you fall, yet here you were, wrapped in a loose, oversized poncho that hid your frame completely.
"Hello, everyone," you offered with a polite, soft greeting, breaking the stunned silence.
Omega peeked out from behind Tech, her eyes wide with curiosity. "Are you a friend of Captain Rex?" she asked, stepping forward with a bright, welcoming smile.
"I am," you replied warmly. To meet her at eye level, you squatted down—and as you did, the thick fabric of your poncho shifted and draped tightly over your stomach, fully revealing a prominent, undeniable baby bump. On your left hand, the faint gleam of a band caught the light.
Tech’s data-pad slid an inch through his grip, his head tilting in total silence. Wrecker’s jaw dropped so low it looked unhinged, his eyes darting wildly between your face, your stomach, and the ring on your finger. Omega gasped, her hands flying to her mouth in pure delight.
Hunter’s hand twitched out of pure instinct before his brain caught up with his senses, his white-hot focus pinning the former captain. Rex rubbed the back of his neck, visibly sweating under the weight of the squad's collective stare.
"Rex..." Hunter finally managed, his voice dropping to a low rasp. "...you want to explain how a Jedi we watched die is standing in this room? Why there are two heartbeats? And why you're wearing matching rings?"
