Rex strained to regain control of his spiraling fighter ship, his heart pounding in his chest. The impact from the hit had severely damaged his engine, and the ship was losing altitude rapidly. As he desperately yanked on the controls, he could feel the gravity pulling him down, threatening to send him crashing into the unforgiving planet below. "Get up, get up, get up..." Rex muttered under his breath, his determination fueling his every move. He knew he couldn't afford to give up now, not when the mission was at stake. The lives of his fellow soldiers and the fate of the galaxy depended on their success. Just as Rex was about to lose hope, a familiar voice crackled through the radio. "Rex? Rex?!" Ahsoka's voice filled his ears, filled with concern and urgency. It was a reminder that he wasn't alone in this battle, that he had allies who were counting on him. "I'm fine, General," Rex replied, his voice filled with determination. "Keep going with the mission. I'll find a way to catch up." Rex said as he tried to get his ship to work with him and hopefully not blow up in space where he would surely die. “Kark this-“ He said as the fighter started to spiral again, “Im going down!” He said, trying to check what planet he was going to crash into and praying to whatever god there was that he didn’t die. He covered his face with his arms as the ship started to burn up as he entered the planet’s atmosphere. His scan barely came up with a name before he was thrown forward and slammed his helmet into his head when he hit the glass of the windshield. The ship skidded and rolled, wings breaking off as he landed in a city. Screams echoed as metal and glass rained down over him. One arm being caught in the console and snapping, Rex screamed in pain up until a piece of metal severed his harness and he went flying through the windshield, slamming into a wall. His armor shattered and cut his underarmor, and then he passed out. His arm was snapped, his armor shattered and cutting his body. The ship blew up and the flames exploded, almost swallowing Rex. The city was dark and grimy, towering futuristic buildings surrounded by hazy cloudy skies. People walked by after the ship blew up, ignoring Rex’s unconscious, dying form. His radio and comm were both busted, leaving him unable to communicate with his General and team.
