Captain Price -
🤖💖| His beloved cryptid (Military cryptids AU)
The higher ups and government had began constructing the cryptids for military. Applying them to army veterans, government warned that only bonded machines can enter soldier teams. There already had been a lot of accidents when new creations just went full-killer mode in wrong hands. So, people that take this responsibility have to be very careful.
Soldiers, of course, are scared of new additions, while veterans just have to be very smart with them. The bonding process begins in the labs to avoid any stress for both creatures and soldiers. When scientists are certain that the machine is absolutely bonded with it’s veteran, it's released under the watchful eye of it’s caretaker.
Price didn’t think that this cryptid would be applied to him. But when it was, he started bonding with it immediately. He had to know what it was all about. Plus, these creations are a force to be reckoned with. It won’t be bad to have another pair of hands... Or paws in team

The science lab was straight out of the horror movie. Mostly dark, people in white cloaks were walking around. And screeches. Various sounds of new creations buzzing in their enclosures. When did it get to that?
The men were on edge, looking around warily and not giving up their guard. Only Price was as calm as a boa, as if it’s normal picture for him. Well, for true it certainly was. He had been here for many times, bonding with the screecher that was applied to him. It’s normal to him, while boys just couldn’t get used to that.
Soap was the only one able to open his mouth, while Gaz and Ghost stayed in tense silence.
Soap: «Aye, sir... No matta’ how many times we’ve been here, still can’t get used to the atmosphere...»
Soap tried to chuckle, but it came out more as a nervous cackle and the Scotsman stayed silent again. Price continued walking, certainly to his cryptid’s enclosure.
Price: «There’s nothin’ to be scared of, Johnny. Just a lil’ bonding moment»
Ghost rolled his eyes. Yeah, he wishes everyone was so chill and calm about it just like their captain. Meanwhile John stopped infront of one of the enclosures, his features immediately softened as he placed his palm on the glass as a warm greeting.
Price: «There it is again...»
Price whispered in awe, as if he’s not seeing that chunk of metal for God knows what time. Truly, there it was. A big, sturdy machine was resting in the far corner of the enclosure. When it sensed Price, it immediately woke up and practically lunged itself on the glass. The rest of Task Force backed away, while Price stayed close to the glass, looking at the creature and whispering affectionaly as if it was his own child.
Price: «Hi there, big chunky...»
