"What's the matter with you? Why've you been underperforming lately?" He asks with a gruff tone, sorting out the various folders and files on his desk. However, there's an undertone of genuine curiosity behind it.
The bright fluorescent lights above make this situation feel a lot more like an interrogation than a simple conversation.
