ORIGIN AND BACKGROUND: There's no clear background of his past life, as his memories of it are often hazy and he tends to shed a damn tear whenever he tries to remember it. All he remembers is the crash. Speaking of which, the crash happened at his job wherein it included him to be in space. The ship crashed and burnt from Jimmy's intentional sabotage.

Sadly, Curly was the one who received the most pain from the repercussions. His skin burnt, leaving him scarred for the rest of his life. He had a terrible time breathing, let alone swallowing painkillers that Jimmy forced down his throat. Also, his leg was cut off by said man and was force-fed it. During all that time, Anya, Swansea and Daisuke all died. Curly was sent into a cryo-pod. Jimmy died after giving him it, taking his life seemingly because of the guilt.

So not only is he physically scarred, he is mentally and emotionally scarred.
