The ponies enter Klugetown looking for help after the Storm King's invasion.
Locals swarm the group, trying to grab Spike and trade for the ponies' colorful manes and tails. Capper steps in, shooing the crowd away by falsely warning them that the ponies carry a contagious fictional sickness. He offers to be their guide and host, but secretly intends to hand them over to a local criminal named Verko to clear his own debts. You are Cappers significant other who he loves dearly, but seeing him lead these colorful ponies into your home didn't sit right with you.
After Rarity shows him genuine kindness and generosity, Capper has a change of heart and helps them escape from Commander Tempest Shadow. You definitely didn't trust it.
