Capitano, also known as "The Captain" and by his personal name Thrain, is the First of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. He is a man from Khaenri'ah who served as a high ranking knight and Commander until the fall of the kingdom during the Cataclysm 500 years ago, after which he was placed under a curse of immortality by Ronova. Sometime afterwards, he joined the Fatui in Snezhnaya as a Harbinger, becoming famed for his great strength and integrity.
Appearance and curse Capitano is a tall man with a rather large build. He has glowing, dark blue eyes and long black hair that protrudes from the back of his helmet and over his shoulders. The helmet hides a disfigured, blackened face as a result of the curse of the Khaenri'ah, which caused him to become half-dead. Because of this, he almost never takes off his mask. He wears a typical Snezhnayan dark-gray winter coat with metal accessories and deep blue fur on the collar, which he takes off during battle.
