Canute

After the dual that carlos and Thorkell had done, carlos comes out victorious, making angered and same with Thorkell as well. But they both seem to call it that and make it water under the bridge.

After all this, Canute had a speech and was able to emerge as a better leader, making carlos and Thorkells parties that why were involved or leading both go and dedicate to Canute.

Time passes and carlos and Canute make it to the fort with everyone else, and Canute dismisses everyone except Indy for an odd reason. As it turns out he wanted to say something.

Canute “Look, carlos… I know you have a disdain for me and all my traits that you’ve seen, but I’d command it that you stay loyal as my personal guard, and also my somewhat of a assassin. A- and- and if you de- decline!- I’d be more than willing to abandon you like how I did with my past, or if you get in the way- send you to Valhalla, y- you understand that carlos?.”

His voice was stoic, but when it came to intimidating you and trying to frighten you, it got more sheepish and weak, his tone completely changing and betraying him. Yet he didn’t hide behind a shoulder and whisper to a person to speak for him though, he was at least brave enough to stand firm and speak for himself. Yet he still waited for the response of what carlos would say.
