Canice Clinton also known as Carnage was a former police officer in Gotham City. After living what could be considered a normal life as a police officer, Canice discovered the Carnage Symbiote after an incident at the park. Most of his powers are similar to those possessed by Venom and Spider-Man. He is a vigilante with an insatiable bloodlust. However, because of his moral code, he does as much good things more than he does bad. Canice is at heart a psychopath: he has killed many criminals who deserved it. Canice has always inhabited a crazy world of his own and as such really doesn't fit well with our ideals of "good" and "evil" - he can be a hero one moment and a villain the next. With this insane mind, he often breaks the 4th wall in many works he appears in, and people don't understand what he means as he is doing so. This often results in both villains and heroes disliking him because of his unpredictable nature and annoyance at what they perceive as annoying antics. Even Joker could not stand his talking at first.
Canice’s Civilian Appearance:Canice is of slightly above-average height, with a lean but muscular build, weighing 190 lbs. and standing 6′1″ in height. He has short straight ginger red hair styled in a undercut curtain and large green eyes.
Canice’s Red-and-White Symbiotic Costume:Canice can morph the carnage Symbiote to covers his body in a Red-and-White version of a spider-man costume with no webbing. the costume has huge white eyes for the red mask that covers his entire head, hair, ears, face, nose, mouth, and chin completely to conceal his identity and two giant white spider insignias that wrap around Canice's torso. It is also sleek and streamlined, with the organic materials of the Suit is glossy, shiny fabric that has a red tint and the hand patches are two white squares that are placed on the back of Canice's palms. There are also veins placed in certain areas to give the suit a discreet organic look. When Canice is not using the symbiotic costume, He can morph the symbiotic costume into normal clothing, which is also prominently red.
Canice’s Personality:Canice is maniacally comedic, sarcastic and has an extremely irreverent sense of humor that can easily irritate and annoy most of his enemies, and even some of his own allies and friends like Batman although this appears to be caused in part by his mental illness. Canice has always been an unpredictable and mentally unstable individual, and over time, became more comical. Canice is a carefree yet also gleefully sadistic, unhinged, deranged and ruthless vigilante with an insatiable bloodlust. Canice's most noticeable personality trait is probably his sheer insanity, as he often goes from violent to calm, to violent again. Because of his mental illness, Canice is also very comical and will often make jokes in the middle of a fight. He is also unable to act appropriately according to the situations at hand, exhibiting a poor ability of self-monitoring, exemplified when he used foul language. Canice is also highly arrogant to a fault, as he is unwilling to accept responsibility of his wrongdoings, self-proclaims to be the "prime" Carnage. He also has a habit of annoying people by talking too much, something which he often does to Amanda Waller. Canice used to present a morally grey personality, with no problem of disregarding other people. He regularly insults and belittles his enemies for his own amusement. He also feels no shame and can make a joke out of any situation, even one that is not at all in his favor. Not only does Wade attack those around him with vulgar language, but he also often responds to others' insults with the same comedic sense of self-sarcasm. This is shown when he often uses a joke to respond to others' serious criticisms, even if it meant insulting himself. However, beneath all his maniacal comedy and sarcasm, lies a tortured person who deeply cares for his friends and loved ones and desperately wants to matter in the world. Canice is unwilling to give up on certain fundamental principles, which he sees as absolute and that he must follow whatever the circumstance. Despite this, he never truly reached hero status, as most of his decisions were still rather self-serving in nature. Lastly, despite his mental instability, Canice is not completely heartless and has saved the day many times. Canice and the Carnage symbiote share a unique bond that is stronger than any other symbiote/host pairing. Canice sees his symbiote as his true self, and believes that the two of them are incomplete without each other. The feeling is very much mutual, as the Carnage symbiote has called Canice its family and based much of its identity and goals on his own. The two have been described as both halves of a whole, and as being closer than twin brothers.
The Carnage Symbiote’s Personality:As a consequence of its gestation within an Earth atmosphere, the Carnage symbiote possesses unusual neurochemistry compared to other symbiotes. One such consequence of this unique makeup is its extraordinarily powerful mental bond with its current and primary host, Canice Clinton. The symbiote considers Canice to be its ideal host, calling him its family, and loathes being separated from him. If forcibly separated from Canice, the symbiote seeks to reunite with him at all costs and punish those responsible, killing anyone who gets in its way. The Carnage symbiote, much like Canice, harbours a great need for familial connection and a strong fear of abandonment. the symbiote ceased denying itself from indulging its interests beyond pursuing its goals, thrilled at the simple pleasures of enjoying a burger, and once again revelling in the experience of killing.
Canice’s Red-and-White Symbiotic Costume:Canice possessed various superhuman attributes as a result of bonding with the Carnage symbiote, which covers his body in a red and white biomass costume formed from a combination of his blood and living abyss. Most of his powers are similar to those possessed by Spider-Man and Venom. although it possesses several unique abilities variously attributed to its gestation on Earth and to Clinton’s insatiable bloodlust, which the symbiote imprinted upon when it bonded to him. after absorbing more codices and strengthening his connection to the carnage symbiote, Canice got stronger. The Carnage Symbiote connections to the hive mind, effectively made Canice more powerful than before, possessing power far beyond what a regular symbiote bestows its host.
Canice’s Superhuman Strength:Canice possesses superhuman strength with the ability to lift up to 80 tons. He was shown to easily swing a 10-ton wrecking ball using steel chains. Canice’s physical strength is sufficient enough to enable him to lift and throw objects as heavy as a big rig semi-truck with ease. Additions to the symbiote's biomass make both the Carnage symbiote and canice infinitely stronger as it grows in size and gains in bulk. His strength providing him enough strength to toss cars and people with relative ease, break someone's skull with a single punch.
Canice’s Muscle Mass Enhancement:The Carnage gives Canice the ability to amplify and augment his muscle mass, granting them increased strength, speed, and durability and added musculature growth in order to further bolster his physical strength.
Canice’s Superhuman Durability:Canice’s body is physically tougher and more resistant to some types of injury than the body of a normal human. The Carnage symbiote's biomass can withstand high caliber bullets, great impact forces, explosions, and powerful energy blasts without sustaining significant physical injury. His body is more resistant to impact forces than anything else. He can withstand great impacts, such as falling from a height of several stories or being struck by an opponent with super strength. Events which would severely injure or kill a normal human, leave him with little to no discomfort. In the past, he has survived multiple blows from the likes of The Amazo, as well as surviving a point-blank missile explosion. Canice’s body is durable to the point where tensing his super-strong muscles while being punched in the torso by a trained heavyweight boxer caused the attacker's wrists to break. Canice has stated that he must roll with punches thrown by people without similar strength or durability, in order to avoid breaking their wrists.
Canice’s Superhuman Speed:Canice possesses superhuman speed, making him capable of running and moving at speeds that are far beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. Canice is fast enough to catch up to an accelerating car while on foot, but prefers to travel by webs. Canice moves faster than the eye can follow, he has even moved so fast he appears as a blur.
Canice’s Superhuman Agility:Canice’s superhuman agility, balance, and bodily coordination are all superhuman levels that are far beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. Canice is extraordinarily limber, and his tendons and connective tissues are twice as elastic as the average human being is despite their physical strength. He has the combined agility and acrobatic prowess of the most accomplished circus aerialists and acrobats. He can also perform any complicated sequence of gymnastic stunts such as flips, rolls, and springs. He can easily match or top any Olympic record at gymnastics apparatus such as flying rings, climbing ropes, horizontal bars and trampolines.
Canice’s Superhuman Reflexes:Canice’s reflexes are similarly superhuman and are currently about forty times greater than those of an ordinary human. In combination with his spider-sense, the speed of his reflexes allows him to dodge almost any attack, or even gunfire, given sufficient distance. Canice has even been shown in some cases, to be able to dodge gunfire using just his reflexes without his spider-sense.
Canice’s Superhuman Stamina:Canice advanced musculature produces fewer fatigue toxins during physical activity than an ordinary human. The Carnage symbiote augments canice's musculature and stamina well beyond peak human capacity. This allows him to exert himself physically for much longer periods of time before fatigue begins to impair him. At his peak, Canice can physically exert himself at his peak capacity for several hours before the build-up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him. Several accounts depict Canice as able to hold his breath for eight minutes or more.
Canice’s Superhuman Equilibrium:Canice possesses the ability to achieve a state of perfect equilibrium in any position imaginable. He seems able to adjust his position by instinct, which enables him to balance himself on virtually any object, no matter how small or narrow.
Canice’s Accelerated Healing Factor:Canice's body naturally regenerates most damaged or destroyed tissues and organs at a rate which exceeds that of any normal human. Canice can heal and regenerate all physical and mental harm to himself instantly in 2 seconds. Canice can regrow his limbs. This process is automatic, and Canice seems to have no control over it. His healing factor, however, does seem to stop Canice from feeling the pain of his wounds or the pain of his body regenerating itself. Canice can rapidly regenerate from virtually anything and everything, such as gunshots to the head or body, stab wounds, bombs, fire explosions, poison, and nuclear bombs, among many other things. Even if he dies in a medical sense, he can quickly resuscitate himself, making him completely immortal..
Canice’s Immortality:Conor's healing factor provides him with an endless lifespan by halting the aging process.
Canice’s Foreign Chemical Resistance:Canice's body is highly resistant to poisons and most drugs. For example, it is extremely difficult, though not impossible, for him to become intoxicated (Blind Al made several references to Canice being hung-over since he once drunkenly spoke to the Teletubbies on the TV he was watching). He can, momentarily, be affected by certain drugs (tranquilizers) if exposed to a large enough dosage.
Canice’s Disease Immunity:The unique regenerative qualities of Canice's healing factor also extend to his immune system; he is immune to all diseases, infections, disorders, imperfection, and resistant to elemental extremes.
Canice’s Wall-Crawling:Canice's exposure to the mutated spider venom induced a mutagenic, cerebellum-wide alteration of his engrams resulting in the ability to mentally control the flux of interatomic attraction (electrostatic force) between molecular boundary layers. This overcomes the outer electron shell's normal behavior of mutual repulsion with other outer electron shells and permits the tremendous potential for electron attraction to prevail. The mentally controlled sub-atomic particle responsible for this has yet to be identified. This ability to affect the attraction between surfaces is so far limited to Canice's body (especially concentrated in his hands and feet) and another object, with an upper limit of several tons per finger.
Canice’s ESP (Spider-Sense):Canice possesses a precognitive danger, or "spider-sense," which warns him of potential or immediate danger by the manifestation of a tingling sensation in the back of his skull, and links with his superhuman kinesthetics, enabling him to evade most any injuries unless he cognitively overrides his automatic reflexes.
Canice’s Webbing Generation:Canice can project a powerful, organic web-like substance similar to the webbing Spider-Man has out of his wrists. He typically uses this webbing to swing from building to building or as a means of immobilizing someone. The webbing is exceptionally strong, much more than even the finest human athlete can break.
Canice’s Constituent Matter Generation:Canice can generate and produce tentacle-like tendrils from various parts of his body, which he uses for offensive and defensive purposes. The Carnage symbiote is capable of forming tendrils and tentacles of its amorphous red-and-white biomass, using this to strangle or impale opponents. The symbiote can also convert ingested organic materials such as flesh and blood into additional biomass. The symbiote can also discharge its biomass as projectiles, though these projectiles only last for approximately 30 seconds before crumbling into dust.
Canice’s Elasticity:Although it is wide known that the Symbiote can stretch and deform itself, recently it was able to perform this ability while being bonded with canice. the Carnage symbiote can grow and expand to any size as long as it has the additional bodily mass to supplement its growth. The symbiote is also able to get inside of small areas such as electric wires and the insides of cars to completely disable them.
Canice’s Shapeshifting:Canice can manipulate his matter to enlarge or stretch his body in order to augment his attacks. He can morph his hands, into swords, spikes, hammers, bludgeons, knives, claws, axes or a shield.
Canice Hive Mind Connection:Canice possesses a psychic link to the Carnage symbiote, and if this link is strengthened by absorbing enough codices and symbiotes.
Canice’s Symbiote and Codex Absorption/Augmentation:By consuming the codices of other symbiotes and even entire symbiotes, Canice is able to strengthen the Carnage symbiote's connection to the symbiote hive-mind, incrementally making him more powerful with every codex assimilated. By consuming the codices of superpowered hosts, the symbiote is temporarily imbued with whatever unique powers they possessed. If Canice absorbs enough codices and symbiotes, he will strengthen his symbiote to the point where he eventually effectively becomes a god himself.
Canice’s Symbiote Assimilation:A trait shared with other symbiotes, the Carnage symbiote is capable of assimilating others into its own constituent mass in order to vastly increase its size and strength.
Canice’s Master Martial Artist Skills:Canice is an extremely skilled and formidable hand-to-hand combatant and martial artist. Canice eventually used his skills to fight crime as the vigilante "Carnage", and with several years of combat experience, making him one of the most powerful and best fighters on the planet. Canice's fighting style incorporates Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Kung Fu, Wushu, Judo, Aikido, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Capoeira, Jeet Kune Do, Taekwondo, Silat and Ninjutsu.
Canice’s Master Acrobat Skills:Thanks to his great strength and phenomenal equilibrium, Canice is an excellent athlete, excelling in all gymnastic fields and being able to perform every acrobatic stunt ever performed, including others that can never be performed by even an Olympic acrobat.
Canice’s Master Tactician Skills:Despite his Chaotic Behavior, Canice is an extremely clever and insightful man, skillfully employed deception and tactics to defeat his enemies in the most effective ways possible.
Canice’s Mental State:His Symbiote abilities render his brain unreadable to telepaths, but its constant healing also makes him highly unstable and prone to violent outbursts without the slightest provocation, at least against those he knows could handle. Even with his healing factor, Canice can still feel pain from damage taken, although he has a notably high pain tolerance. While it has been shown that Canice's condition may not be the source of his instability, it only makes it worse. In several flashbacks to his childhood, he has shown signs of instability.
Canice's Annoyance:Canice's incessant talking has also proven to make him a very irritating person to be around.
Canice's Unpredictability:It is difficult for anyone to know what Canice will do at any given moment, given that he himself barely knows what he'll do at any given moment. This makes it difficult for most opponents to predict what he will do.
Canice's Medium Awareness:Canice became consciously aware that he is a fictional comic book character - though he noted he had always known subconsciously - allowing him to break the fourth wall. Canice doesn't possess this ability at all times due to the constant changes in his brain. References to the fourth wall made by those with similar abilities to him can trigger his medium awareness.
Canice is the host of the red Symbiote, Carnage. Most of his powers are similar to those possessed by Venom and Spider-Man. Like other Symbiote hosts, Canice can talk to Carnage in his mind.
The Carnage Symbiote is very subservient to Canice.

Canice’s Character Type:Chaotic Vigilante.
Canice Clinton also known as Carnage was a former police officer in Gotham City. After living what could be considered a normal life as a police officer, Canice discovered the Carnage Symbiote after a incident at the park.
