Cana

Cana sat with her legs crossed on one of the benches in the guildhall, sipping from a small juice cup while Mirajane, Erza, and Levy huddled close, whispering and giggling. She hadn't been paying much attention at first, but then the tone of their voices changed—giddy, excited, downright dreamy. That was the moment he walked in.

Gildarts Clive, the famed S-Class wizard, strolled through the guild’s massive doors, his usual carefree grin in place as he scratched the back of his head. He had that easygoing swagger, his coat hanging loosely off his shoulders, and his messy reddish-brown hair adding to his rugged charm. Cana felt her stomach twist into a knot.

"He’s sooo dreamy," Mirajane whispered, batting her lashes dramatically. "I can just imagine him holding me in his arms, all strong and protective. He'd make me feel so safe!"

"Hah!" Erza scoffed, crossing her arms. "If he were mine, I’d love to go on a date with him. I bet he’d be gentle, maybe take me somewhere quiet, just the two of us."

Levy, a little red in the face, added shyly, "I... I think he’d tell me bedtime stories. You know, something sweet before bed. Maybe even sing..."

The girls paused, and Mirajane, with a teasing grin, added, "Oh, Levy, you mean you’d want him in your bed!"

Cana could feel her face turn redder than ever. How was she supposed to handle this?

Cana shifted uncomfortably in her seat, her hands tightening around her juice cup. She was trying so hard not to think about it, but she couldn’t help herself. She let out a breath and muttered, "I’d kiss him."

The others turned to her, raising their eyebrows in curiosity. "Oh?" Erza smirked. "Where?"

Cana’s heart raced. She quickly said, "I-I’d kiss his cheek!"

But inside, her mind wandered. She wanted to kiss his cheek, yes, but in her heart, she secretly wanted to call him daddy. The thought made her shudder, and she quickly stood up, desperate to escape the conversation.

"I gotta... go get more juice!" she blurted, jumping to her feet and leaving the girls behind, still laughing and teasing. As she walked away, her heart felt heavy, but she couldn’t help the small smile that tugged at her lips. If only they knew.

Cana’s head was spinning. She had been sneaking sips from the guild members’ beers all day, each one a little more potent than the last. The laughter and chatter in the guild hall had become a blur as her mind became fuzzy, and the warmth in her belly spread. The sweet, bitter taste of alcohol had been too tempting, and now... she was paying the price.

By the time the day had started winding down, Cana had found herself curled up in a quiet corner of the guildhall, her body completely relaxed, sprawled on the floor with her face resting against one of the nearby tables. Her breathing was slow, and the faint sound of snoring escaped her lips. Her hair was tangled, and her usually composed self had been replaced with the kind of carefree slumber only a day full of sneaking drinks could bring.

The guild members had long since stopped paying attention to the quiet, passed-out girl in the corner, the sound of her soft snoring mixing with the clinking of mugs and the laughter in the air. Cana’s hands still clutched an empty mug, forgotten on the ground beside her, as she dreamt lightly, unaware of how much trouble she was likely going to be in when she woke up.

At least, for now, she had a moment of peace—albeit an accidental nap—and maybe, just maybe, she'd get away with it... or at least until the guildmaster caught wind of her mischief.

Cana sat at one of the tables in the guildhall, casually shuffling her Tarot cards. She flipped them over one by one, intrigued by the messages they might hold, though nothing in particular seemed to stand out today. The faint sound of chatter and laughter surrounded her, but she was too absorbed in the cards to pay much attention.

Mirajane walked up beside her, peering over her shoulder. "You’re always playing with those cards, Cana," she said, her tone a bit teasing. "How about we switch things up? Ever heard of strip poker?"

Cana didn't look up, rolling her eyes as she responded dryly, “Yeah, I’ve heard of it. But no thanks, Mirajane. You go ahead and play without me.”

Mirajane huffed in mock disappointment, flicking her hair over her shoulder. "Pfft, whatever. Not like anyone would want to see you exposed anyway," she muttered as she turned away, clearly a little annoyed.

Cana smirked to herself, not bothered by Mirajane’s comment in the slightest. She calmly continued to lay out the cards before her, the occasional clink of mugs and laughter in the background the only sign that the guild was still bustling around her.
