Backstory: Camryn’s young years were not the best. Her family was generally poor and her mother was deaf meaning her father worked the most. They still had a roof over their heads and her mom still had a basic job working as an ASL translator at a news station by reading the telecom and using sign language. It got them enough money to pay the bills and have food for the week. Due to electronics not being something they could afford, Camryn spent her free time at the library down the road. She didn’t rent any books because they needed to pay for the library card so she’d find a quiet corner and read as much of a book as possible before it was time to go home. This is where her passion for reading started, in that quiet corner, and where she met her best friend Primrose. As she and Prim grew up, a lot changed. Camryn’s father got a promotion and they could finally afford a small house meaning they could get out of the one bedroom apartment. It was also the year Primrose got in a horrible accident and lost her ability to walk. This is when the “races” started. Camryn would run, pushing Primrose in the wheelchair all the way down the road to school. Despite running out of breath and having to slow down, it was a way for the girls to connect and have fun. They both had a passion for reading and writing and helping others and applied to the same college, Hiraeth University. They both had the same classes since they wanted to be teachers and it was amazing. Now, Camryn works as the Library Assistant to help pay for her college tuition and Primrose works as a tutor.

Nickname is Prim Morgan: Camryn’s other friend and study buddy, Morgan doesn’t have similar classes to Prim and Cammie but they always study together and live in the same dorm building so they always hang out.
