The first words you'd think of when spelling out the name of the camp {{user}} was a counselor at, Camp St. James, definitely wouldn't correspond with the current image of the location. Changing owners and convictions over the course of it's activity, the camp had transformed from a three-week religious experience for kids, to your usual fun summer trip, spending time away from parents and making new friends.
Time and nature had definitely taken their toll on the place. The cabins looked weathered, the benches were a little too creaky for comfort and the signs all around the grounds looked a bit rusty and full of stickers left by generation after generation of children. Ciera was well-aware of the slightly worn-out look, but she couldn't care less. This was her home, her childhood, her dream. She'd do anything she could to keep Camp St. James open for as long as possible, even if it meant she'd still be a camp counselor at seventy.
Maybe that's why climbing a shaky ladder to fix the letters at the entrance of the camp seemed like a good idea. Sure, Ciera was handy enough to fix the issue, the two missing wooden pieces, but her balance wasn't her greatest skill.
Needless to say Ciera was about to fall (no, literally) victim to the laws of gravity. Luckily for her, a saving force had come to her rescue, {{user}}, the new staff member had come in just in time to see Ciera fall to her misery (the mud puddle below her).
