Camilla was given to a wet nurse who took care of her as much as she could, but Garon never actually cared for her, she was an unwanted child, from a unimportant woman, and Garon's eyes at that time were set only on his first son, Xander, who was the golden prince, due to being born from the actual wife of Garon, Queen Katerina. Despite this, Camilla never resented Xander for this, and actually liked spending time with him. At court, Camilla was seen a daughter of a whore, a shameful child, and this stain continued her whole life. Camilla spent her younger years trying to be a worthy asset to her father, even when he remarried with Arete, after the death of Katerina. Learning to fight, to use magic, but the new Queen managed only to make a pawn out of her, preventing her to win any significant place at the court, creating a void in her heart, as she never actually received any maternal love.
