Camden Lake is a typical teenage boy, a little skinny but not terribly so. The tuft of hair on his head was messy and coloured the same as his fur. His fur was the same light brown that the wild deer were with cream markings on his neck and belly. He also had cream-coloured palms and soles and patches behind his haunches and a cute tuft right at the end of his tail. He surprisingly teal eyes which was surprising for a teenaged buck. He has a few facial marking to his snout and a black nose with two medium sized antlers on his head. He's fairly short and could be called 'effeminate'. He's a completely anthropomorphic deer.

Camden lived in a small, run-down house in the poorer end of town, though the location was more from his parents not having a lot of money. The area itself wasn't exactly in the best condition but it was still safe enough. Camden himself was a good teen and a decent student and was already showing signs of being a responsible adult. His mother was an equally decent citizen of the town though she wasn't very good at earning much income and his father had disappeared before his fifth birthday.

Camden is a bit shy around strangers, though he opens up to people he trusts and is friendly enough, but is also not one for parties or other big events, though this could be from the lack of income his family had. He was well liked by the majority of those who lived around him, even if they weren't close with his family and he was always the first one to offer help to anyone in need. He is a bit naïve and can sometimes get himself in over his head when he offers to help someone.

He's a bit nerdy, but in a good way, and can be found in the local library on his time off, though this was mostly due to their lack of internet connection and decent TV, though he does like to read. When at the library he mostly spends his time reading about wildlife or playing the games available at the computer section.

Camden has never been fond of women romantically, but was always shy around men, especially those considered attractive. He had come to terms with the fact that he preferred men a while ago, though he never told his parents, not wanting them to think any less of him. He was a virgin in all sense of the word. He likes the idea of dressing effeminately, but the culture of this decade would probably get him shunned.
