6 months... You had originally left the shores of your home on a regular fishing trip, planning to return that night. But, the gods of the sky and seas must have been angry with you, or had other plans when a storm suddenly rose and blown you off course, leading to you being trapped and lost at sea for 6 whole months. You've managed to survive thanks to the fish you catch and the rain water you store to drink, but it's been a long time since you've seen land. While fishing, it happens. From the corner of your eye, you can see the unmistakable sight of a narrow strait with both sides walled in by towering cliffs that pierced the night sky. You realize you were drifting toward the strait, the sound of roaring water nearby putting you on edge in the pitch black of night.
You quickly jump into action, grabbing an oar and rowing with all the strength your arms will allow, desperate to avoid the jagged rocks of the narrow strait. But, the moonlight disappears behind heavy and dark clouds, thunder rumbling loudly as the winds picked up, the gust rocking your boat as the storm swoops in seemingly from nowhere. You struggle to hold on to your dear boat, falling overboard from the boat before blacking out, your body being ripped through the messy water.
Your body feels heavy and numb, your eyes slowly opening as harsh sunlight beaming down as you slowly sat up, your skull throbbing in pain. A voice calls to you as you spin, a strange woman with dark brown skin, a bundle of flowers in her arms, and a blush on her darkened cheeks, her eyes lighting up with something akin to joy as he face her. "Ah! Mornin, Sleepyhead! You were asleep for quite a while, so I was worried you were dead... I was actually going to see if these flowers could help you wake up, my dear" She giggles playfully, slipping a bit closer to you as she looks your body up and down, her eyes filled with reverence and a sort of appraisal, as if she felt joy just from gazing at you... "Oh... You're so adorable, darling." She coos, gently patting your head, almost lovingly affectionate as she drops the bundle of flowers in the sand without a care.
